OUR Clarets jury members discuss the big talking points coming out of Turf Moor. This week we're looking at your suggestions for Burnley's player of the season so far.

ANDREW GREENWOOD

Well, there’s a few who could be on the list like Ben Mee, Stephen Ward and Jack Cork but for me, so far, it’s James Tarkowski.

I did have some doubts at the start of the season as Michael Keane’s boots were big ones to fill but he’s been outstanding.

He was breaking records for time sat on the bench last season but he’s been patient and has grabbed his chance with both hands.

AMER STANSFIELD-MUSHTAQ

This is a tough question because the Clarets are where they are due to a brilliant team effort and of course the man of the moment Sean Dyche.

I think since Tom Heaton injured his shoulder, Nick Pope has come in and done a fantastic job, not really done anything wrong and made some crucial saves much like his predecessor, but for me it's our latest player called up to the England squad Jack Cork.

He has been a crucial signing for us in the midfield and contribution when going forward.

MATT RIGGS

The fact that there are so many contenders for this is testament to the fantastic start we've had.

Jack Cork has been outstanding, Steven Defour is now showing his class regularly but I think James Tarkowski is our player of the season so far.

There aren't many players who would have waited for an opportunity for as long as he has and it's fantastic to see him take it so well and become a more than suitable replacement for Michael Keane at the back.
