BURNLEY had to wait until 2009 for their Premier League debut but it was worth the wait as Robbie Blake's stunning volley defeated then champions Manchester United in their first home game in the competition.
The Clarets had lost their season opener against Stoke but picked up their first three points when Sir Alex Ferguson's star studded side arrived in East Lancashire four days later.
Blake scored the only goal of the game on 19 minutes with a wonderful right foot volley to send the Clarets fans in a crowd of 20,872 home happy.
