TUSSLE: Scott Arfield and Craig Conway battle for possession in the last Ewood Park derby
THE East Lancashire derby in the Carabao Cup second round will NOT be shown live on TV.
The second round draw paired Blackburn Rovers and Burnley together, with the clash to be played at Ewood Park on Wednesday, August 23 (7.45pm).
But Sky Sports have today announced their live selections and the derby date has not made the cut.
Instead the broadcaster will show Sheffield United v Leicester City on the Tuesday night from the Northern section and Cheltenham v West Ham United from the Southern section on the Wednesday night.
