BURNLEY'S record signing Robbie Brady is determined to repay the faith shown in him by Sean Dyche over the final five weeks of the season.

The £13million man has returned to the starting line-up for the last couple of games and he said he is feeling more at home with the Clarets as the weeks go by, having joined from Norwich City at the end of the January transfer window.

He started his Burnley career with a bang with a stunning free-kick on his home debut against Chelsea, but was soon withdrawn from the side as he became accustomed to life under Sean Dyche.

"I feel better through the weeks and as the weeks go on," the Republic of Ireland international said. "There's a few games left for me now to do the best I can and show why the manager has brought me in so I'm looking forward to repaying the lads and the manager for taking me in.

"It's a massive game (against Manchester United on Sunday), I'm really looking forward to it."

Brady impressed for the second game running in the Clarets' 3-1 defeat at Everton.

The Goodison Park reverse made it 17 without a win away from home in the Premier League this season for Burnley, but they created plenty of chances against an Everton side who made it eight straight league wins at home.

"It's always a difficult place to come, never mind when they've won seven on the bounce at the home," Brady told Clarets Player. "We showed if we give them half chances like we did they're going to put them away and that's what killed us in the end.

"But we're working every week to get these away performances right and we've showed we're more than capable of performing against anyone in this league. There's definitely some positives to take."

Burnley went in goalless at the break but had the better of the chances in the first half and Brady felt they showed character to hit back through Sam Vokes' penalty after going behind early in the second half.

"We put ourselves in a good position in the first half and created some good chances, but we didn't manage to put them away," he said.

"Second half we found ourselves behind, we showed great character to come back and score but the two quick goals were a bit of a low blow for us.

"It was a good performance and something we can take the positives from.

"The two goals so close to each other made it hard for us, but we created some chances again after that which shows great character."
