MICHAEL Keane believes Burnley's point at Hull City will give them the confidence to kick on as they prepare for the second of four successive away games this weekend.

Keane was in the thick of the action at the KCOM Stadium, conceding the penalty from which Tom Huddlestone gave the Tigers the lead before firing home an equaliser from a corner four minutes later.

The 24-year-old felt it was important not to get beat against a side the Clarets have established a 10 point lead over this season and he insists a repeat performance at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday will pose Swansea plenty of problems.

"We feel like coming to these places the big thing is not to get beat," said Keane.

"It's hard to go away anywhere in the Premier League as we've found out. To get a point is a good start for us in the next four games and it gives us the confidence to kick on.

"I feel like if we play like we did (at Hull) away from home every team will struggle to beat us. A bit more composure and quality in the final third and maybe we'll get a win."

The draw at Hull was Burnley's second away point of the campaign, and Keane added: "That's what it was about, getting that monkey off our back. We've not quite got a win yet but we're sure that will come."

Keane was penalised for handball in the area with 18 minutes to go, although he felt he had been pushed in the back by Harry Maguire.

But he made amends with his second Premier League goal of the season, controlling a Robbie Brady corner on his chest and firing home before celebrating in front of the travelling Clarets.

"I always like to celebrate with the fans when I score. It's good to score in front of them and I was already on my way there when I hit it," Keane told ClaretsPlayer.

"It was a great ball in from Robbie from the corner, I saw it all the way and it's something we worked on in training at the back post, so it's nice to see that pay off.

"I saw a had bit of a space and Ben was in front of me and he took a man competing for the ball. It was a good first touch that set me up nicely and I just rifled it home."
