MATCH of the Day pundit Danny Murphy hailed Burnley’s home record as ‘fantastic’ after the Clarets secured an eighth Premier League win of the season at Turf Moor.
Burnley’s 1-0 win over Southampton was the seventh of eight games to be shown on Saturday night’s programme.

The main talking point, with Murphy and Ian Wright on the sofa, was Joey Barton’s winner on his return to the Clarets.
Murphy felt Barton had got a bit lucky with his free-kick, and also said Fraser Forster would be disappointed to see it beat him.
He said: “It’s a great story. He’s had ups and downs Joey hasn’t he? But he’s well liked there and he made an impact.
“He got bit a fortunate, I think the keeper is thinking he’s going to go over the wall or through the wall, and he does take a big step right. Just where he can’t see it, he’s taken a step to the right, it nicks Bertrand’s backside and it just takes it away from him, so I have a bit of sympathy for the keeper, but I think he’ll be disappointed.”
The pundits also took a look at Tom Heaton’s late double save from Jay Rodriguez and Josh Sims, of which Murphy said: “This is a wonderful double save.”
The former Liverpool midfielder added: “If the league table was home form Burnley would be third. It’s fantastic. They deserve great credit.”
