SEAN Dyche has hailed the Clarets fans after they roared their team on to another Turf Moor success.

With Burnley struggling on the road home comforts have been crucial and the Clarets have taken all of their 10 Premier League points in front of their own supporters.

Victory over Everton was a third win of the season and also saw Burnley into double figures for points.

They are well ahead of the rate they set two years ago, when it took them until the middle of December to claim a third win, while it was 12 games before they reached 10 points.

Dyche’s side could easily have more points on the board this time around, having conceded goals to Hull City and Arsenal in the final seconds of injury time which have collectively cost them three points.

“I don’t think anyone would have thought we’ve have had 10 points at this stage,” said Dyche. “We’re not too worried what the outside world thinks.

“I thought the fans were terrific (on Saturday).

“They’ve stayed behind us and that’s an important factor, particularly through a Premier League season, we’re going to need them.”

While Burnley continue to seek a remedy for their away woes - with a trip to Old Trafford next on the agenda this weekend - they are looking good at home.

The Clarets are now just one home win away from matching the tally of four achieved in the 2014/15 Premier League season, although they are yet to take a point on their travels.

“Over the last three and a half years of my time here it’s been a difficult place for teams to come to anyway,” added Dyche.

"We want that, we need that.

“We’ve seen it’s difficult to get points on the road. The Premier League exaggerates that more than most.

“I’m not sure on stats but certainly in the mind’s eye, Premier League teams seem to be stronger at home than they are away.

"Apart from the real super-powers who can go anywhere and take a game on.

“Our mentality is strong away from home it’s just performances haven’t been as strong.

“We’ve got to continue to improve that starting with Manchester United on Saturday.
