WATFORD captain Troy Deeney admitted his side had been 'bullied' all over the pitch as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Burnley.

Jeff Hendrick and Michael Keane scored the goals that secured the Clarets a second league win of the season, but Deeney felt his side had been outmuslced at Turf Moor.

"People need to take responsibility," said Deeney. "Look at [goalscorer] Michael Keane - he wanted it more than the other boys involved."

Victory drew the two sides level on seven points, with Hendrick and Keane both heading home Steven Defour crosses.

Defending balls into the box has been a problem for Watford this season and it was something Burnley were quick to take advantage of.

"It is not the first time we have let in a goal from a corner so questions need to be asked and people need to be held accountable," added Deeney.

"It was not good enough. We just didn't turn up. We got bullied to a man all over the pitch and played right into their hands."
