BURNLEY full-back Luke Hendrie is excited by his loan move to Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed loan spells with Hartlepool United and York City in League Two last season but he now follows fellow Clarets youngster George Green to Killie, signing a deal until January.
Hendrie joined Burnley's development squad last summer from Derby County.
He made three appearances for Hartlepool last season before ending the season with the Minstermen and playing 18 times.
After sealing his switch to Kilmarnock he said: “It is a really exciting opportunity to join the club and I can’t wait to get started.”
He could make his debut away at Ross County tomorrow, or at home to Rangers on Friday night.
