BURNLEY boss Sean Dyche said his side must learn from an ‘unacceptable’ last half hour against Rangers, despite the Clarets winning 3-1 at Ibrox.

Andre Gray netted a hat-trick and the only blip on the scoresheet was Ben Mee’s late own goal.

But the manager was not happy with the final 30 minutes from his team at Ibrox.

He said: “It was really useful because Rangers attempt to play a way that’s very similar to the Premier League - try to  play out from the back, constantly trying to open up the pitch and make big spaces.

“For that reason we know we’ve come across it before in the Championship and in the Premier League most play like that.

“So with all due respect to Rangers, who are a very good side, Premier League players have a bit more quality as well.

“Andre is going really well, he’s fit and in good form. There’s a number of them in good form.

“But overall today I was generally pleased, but the last 30 minutes unacceptable from our team, simple as that.

“Some of it’s fitness, fatigue and that weird thing that when you’re 3-0 up you can get a bit lax.

“But the point is you can’t do that in the Premier League.

“We were there two years ago and you can’t do it; teams will hurt you.

“So we’ve got to learn from that today. Fitness will improve and as fitness improves so will focus and concentration.”
