PAUL Robinson has signed a new one-year contract at Burnley.
The 36-year-old joined the Clarets in January on a deal until the end of the season after an injury to Matt Gilks left Sean Dyche short of cover for established number one Tom Heaton.
Robinson was on the bench for the remainder of the Championship season as Burnley secured the title and an immediate Premier League return.
While Gilks was released after two years at Turf Moor, Robinson was offered an extended deal which he has now signed.
"We are delighted to have Paul back on board," said Clarets boss Sean Dyche.
"He continues to work hard at his profession and his wealth of experience is hugely beneficial to the team and, in particular, the goalkeeping department.
"Our other goalkeepers, especially the younger ones, will continue to improve while Paul is with us and we look forward to working with him again this coming season."
