BURNLEY’S second Premier League game of the season could be switched from Anfield to Turf Moor.
Liverpool have written to Burnley asking to switch the venue of the August 20 fixture after the computer paired the two sides together in what should have been the Reds first home game.

However Anfield is unlikely to be ready in time to host that fixture due to the ongoing redevelopment of the Main Stand.
It would mean Burnley would instead play Liverpool away on the weekend of March 11, 2017.
Moving the second game of the season to Turf Moor would mean the Clarets start the campaign with five of their first seven games at home.
