LUKAS Jutkiewicz took his pre-season tally to four to give Burnley a half-time lead against Bradford City at Turf Moor, in Michael Duff’s testimonial game The striker struck just after the half-hour after Ben Mee fed Michael Kightly down the left and the winger delivered a low ball in to the striker.
Jutkiewicz controlled at the near post, and spun to fire across goalkeeper Ben Williams and into the bottom right corner with his second touch.
But Burnley’s best work had come down the right, with Tendayi Darikwa impressing on his unofficial debut.
The right back, who signed a three-year deal from Chesterfield on Thursday, linked well with George Boyd down the right.
The closest Bradford came to scoring was when Tony McMahon’s free kick hit the woodwork and the follow-up was blocked by Ben Mee.
