JELLE Vossen scored on his unofficial debut, as Burnley staged a recovery from a dreadful start against Accrington Stanley.
John Coleman could not have wished for a better way to begin his testimonial game as his side led 3-0 in the opening 10 minutes.
It took Seamus Conneely less than two minutes to fire Stanley in front with a 25-yard shot into the bottom right corner across Matt Gilks.
Matt Crooks was then played in by Piero Mingoia, who played under Dyche at Watford, and chipped the ball over Gilks for his second goal in as many friendlies.
Then in the 10th minute Sean McConville added the third after Gilks' parried Terry Gornell's initial shot.
The Clarets composed themselves and reduced the deficit from the penalty spot after Lukas Jutkiewicz converted the penalty he earned against Tom Davies.
Vossen pounced for the second after Matt Taylor's backheel was blocked.
