WE’VE got the toughest away trip in the Premier League tomorrow, but I think Burnley should go there and attack Chelsea.

You see teams go down there and try and keep Chelsea out, but they’ve got so many attacking players and so many ways of hurting you that sooner or later they will break through.

Sometimes the best form of defence is to attack and try and score. That’s what Burnley have done this season and they’ve done it well, they’ve scored in most of their big away games and there’s no reason they can’t do that again.

You look at what Bradford did down there and you can definitely take heart from that. They didn’t panic when they went behind, they stuck to their game plan and ended up scoring four. That’s what the Clarets need to do and I don’t see why they can’t spring a surprise and get something at Chelsea.

There’s certainly nothing to fear going to Stamford Bridge, nobody expects Burnley to get anything, so we can go and play with the pressure off and sometimes that is a great help.

They can also take confidence from the way they played at Old Trafford and especially the Etihad Stadium over Christmas.

When they were 2-0 down at half-time there most neutrals would have expected that to finish 4-0 or 5-0, but they showed a lot of character to find a way back into the game and they need to replicate that tomorrow.

Danny Ings has been in great form and hopefully that will continue. His goal at Old Trafford was a combination we are well used to now, with Kieran Trippier providing the cross and Danny applying the finish. His recent performances have alerted top four clubs and I’m sure there is even more interest in him now, which is hardly surprising.

I’d be surprised if he moved to La Liga and Real Sociedad. You can understand him considering all his options, but I think he has a lot more to prove and a lot more to offer the Premier League.
