TOMORROW brings another huge game at Turf Moor and it’s vital we make sure our home form against the teams around us in the league is good.

Last weekend we were by far the better team against QPR. It was a very good performance with some good passages of play and we could easily have won by more goals.

That game will have given the squad plenty of confidence. Scott Arfield’s goal was one of the best I have seen at Turf Moor, it was a wonderful bit of individual play.

Danny Ings took his goal brilliantly as well, controlling a bouncing ball, and there is no doubt his performances are going to be key in the final few months of the season.

I saw Palace on TV last weekend and it was a good performance from them to beat Tottenham.

They have a new manager in Alan Pardew and that tends to give teams at the bottom a boost and they go on a little run.

It will be a tough game given that, but if we approach it in the same way as we did against QPR I think we can get the result.

It is a game we need to be taking the three points from really. Home form is going to be crucial, it always is, but especially against teams around you in the league.

It was a great start in the FA Cup replay at Tottenham but in the end defensive mistakes cost us, I thought we were poor defensively and that is something Sean Dyche will want rectifying before the weekend.

The replay was a bit of a distraction in what is a big week, especially with it being away in London, but changes were made so hopefully it won’t have taken too much out of the squad.

The big positive was Sam Vokes and Michael Duff coming through 90 minutes which is great for their fitness.

But I think tomorrow he will go back to the XI that has started in the league recently and hopefully it will be another three points.
