MICHAEL Duff has signed another contract with Burnley, committing himself to an 11th season with the club.

The Clarets’ longest serving player has penned a new one-year deal ahead of his second Premier League season at Turf Moor.

Duff was signed for just £30,000 from Cheltenham almost 10 years ago to the day.

Since then he has made more than 300 appearances for the Clarets.

Why not he's our main defender, I can see him and last pay day vulture Stephen Reid sharing a birth whilst trousering best part of 1.3 million each in wages. I hope they stay at the club for another five years

So glad your a Claret. Just imagine what you'd write is you weren't, You must have been a top manager at a top club, or at least one of the menagerie that's stuffed into your bounce must have been. father-confessor to the England under-21's (Ings isn't, to retro a matter....), Ings agent, Dyche's agent and general guy who knows stuff. I have to ask again; can we see your medials? Will you please dazzle us with your star dust?

PS Don't forget your wallet tomorrow!

Still remember him driving that focus when eagles went for the white lambo, know who I would rather see in the team now! But see your point, his experience and value to the squad is the factor here maybe.

You conveniently forget the contract renewals that were each like a brain rattling uppercut to your hopes and dreams....

Sam Vokes, signs a new contract..... ouch
Keiran Trippier, signs a new contract..... ouch
Michael Kightly, signs a new contract..... ouch
Michael Duff, signs a new contract..... ouch
Burnley sign an international goalkeeper as a backup.... ouch

Ings is currently under contract and quite content at Burnley. He could sign a new contract (ouch) or he could move on for £8m and we then replace him with want-away Jordan Rhodes for £6m (ouch), either way its more tears in Shadsworth.

Every time you post a lame comment on here you simply succeed in slapping yourself in the face, it's comical seeing you squirm day-in, day-out. I will of course continue to remind you of the day it all went wrong....

I really don't know why anybody rises to this fella. The fact anyone takes offence at anything he types is more annoying than reading what nonsense he has to say.
Maybe, if you, like me, ignore his attempts at playground abuse, he will eventually tire of it and take up jigsaws or something.
