Lancashire Police says trouble between Burnley and Rovers fans has been minimal today.

There were seven arrests, most for relatively minor offences.

Silver Commander Superintendent Terry Woods said: “I would like to thank the supporters for being patient, especially around travel arrangements.

“We said from the outset that the overwhelming majority of supporters of both teams are law-abiding citizens who are passionate about supporting their football team. The operation was put in place to make sure that people could enjoy the occasion and get to and from the ground safely.

“The small number of arrests shows that between ourselves and the two football clubs, we have ensured that fans have been able to enjoy the game safely.”

Burnley and Blackburn take a share of the spoils. Blackburn may feel hurt after late equaliser but Burnley deserved at least a point.

The second half sees Rovers kicking towards their own fans. Will that have any effect? Obviously the same goes for Burnley.

1:33pm

And we're off ... Again

1:32pm

Now they are joined by their hosts and the referee. We will be back under way any minute.

Burnley promoting a new initiative called Dychember. Back the campaign by growing your own Sean Dyche-style goatee. Should help keep your face warm during these cold months.

1:17pm

Cleared by Rovers and that is the half. Burnley by far the better side. Berg has a lot of talking/shouting to do.

12:57pm

Robinson punches corner out only as far as Shackell, but his shot is well over the bar.

Duncan Miller said:"I hope the players are as fired up as the fans. We will win 2-0."

Laura Hall said: "I am nervous but I think we will win comfortably."

12:02pm

Today's referee, if anybody really cares, is Lee Mason, who will be assisted by Simon Bennett and Sian Massey. Fourth official is Michael Dean.
