But for a great performance from the Ipswich goalkeeper, and some slips from Burnley in the 2nd half, 8 or 9 easily.

Great evenings entertainment at the turf tonight, And just to top it off agent kean has not let us down again. Well done keano Report to base in india tomorrow for further instructions. Or better still just meet up with the Accrington clarets for a few beers and a good laugh at our interbred friends from deadwood....

Most are calling for Kean's testicles on a platter.

It's pretty depressing every day having to hear how the venkys and Sir Steve are ruining a once proud club. ( proud? When?) I'll say one thing about grintwums and that is they know how to whine!!! Things will begin to fall into place when they realise that nobody cares what happens to them one way or the other.

Congratulations should go to venkys for their foresight in choosing a manager to prepare them for League 1.!

Last night was a vindication of everything that Eddie Howe is doing for us at Burnley. We have an exciting young team that , on its day, is a match for any team in the division. We have problems with consistency but once they are ironed out we will be a force to be reckoned with. Many people are too impatient and call for money to be spent on "journeymen "and "experienced old heads" to "steady the ship" . Let's take a look at the Ipswich team who played last night then. They have a manager with out-dated ideas and he has obviously passed these on to his "experienced" players! There are far too many players and managers of this calibre in the division. It will take time but Eddie Howe is building something special for us here. Some of us, however, are unable or unwilling to see this. We need to be a little more patient.

Not sure about all three points at West Ham, but we have cetainly shown that by beating those below and around us that we are at least mid table to play off potential and the recent league table should be about the closest to relegation we get this season.

I continue to be fully supportive of EH even though there are more ups and downs to come. At least he knows how much work there is to do and what he needs to do to progress, which is more than can be said for our two premier league neighbours.

What a great season this has been so far. Bstrds got rid of Allerdyce, just what the fans asked for. Bolton got their man and though us clarets didn't know it at the time, we've realised it as a lucky escape. As for us, I am absolutely delighted.

The future looks good too. Our board have experience of operating a football club at this level of budget. What those two are going to do when they come down with their high salaries and debts remains to be seen, but I fear the worse.
Could EH progress us further next season?..He certainly can.
Could Coyle get Bolton back up?...I think he's lost it.
Keane....if you believe one bstrd poster, he could be in prison by next season!

Coyle lost it after about 8 games with us in the prem. We have a far better manager now. He deserves everything he gets!
