AGONY Burnley’s Brian Easton feels the pain of the loss at Bristol City
BURNLEY became the first team to succumb to Bristol City at Ashton Gate this season.
The Robins, who had not picked up a home win in seven previous league attempts, but under new boss Derek McInnes they took advantage of some wayward defending end their barren streak.
Ross Wallace became the first Burnley player since Garreth O'Connor in 2005 to score in four consecutive league games when he cancelled out debutant Stephen Pearson's first half opener in the 47th minute.
Pearson had bundled the ball in just before the break to give the struggling home side the edge.
Burnley would have been equally disappointed with the second goal they conceded on the hour.
The Clarets thought they had got away with it when Nicky Maynard broke the offside trap and cutbac for Albert Adomah, who fluffed his effort. But Pearson reacted quickest to the loose ball and crossed for Brett Pitman to finish from four yards.
Bristol City caught Burnley on the break from a free kick to wrap the game up in the 73rd minute.
Adomah sprinted forward after receiving Neil Kilkenny's excellent crossfield ball, and fired across Grant.

Mr Howe must answer some tough questions now. He has signed players who are not Championship standard. Imagine the reaction if Laws was still in charge. I am starting to think the manager is somewhat out of his depth.

Bad loss for you regarding Chris Samba, any news on how bad it is? I like and admire him as a player I wish we had a back four of Chris Samba's .
Not good for any of the local Clubs today except for good ole Accy.
Roll on the next set of games after the international break.

Excellent work Agent Howe. Please be advised not to venture into Burnley town centre tonight, the swamp-dwellers have discovered fire and may try to set your wife alight. Report to Ewood monday for further instruction. Stay safe.

The players he had to get rid of to balance the books were the back bone of the team now we are left with young players who are also not good enough to play at this level I feel sorry for Mr Howe but he will go down in history as the manager who took the Clarets down to div1 how sad

I fear we are re-treading the Laws' ground. I don't expect miracles, but as the saying goes, "if you pay peanuts, you get m--k--ys."
Not wishing to sound rude, but look 10 miles down the road. A perfect proof of the epithet.
I fear EH is out of his depth, (4' 10" at the current rate of achievement).
Sad, but with the smell of inevitability about it.
Laws and Kilby are shouting too loud eh?
Stay loose old boy.

Now to describe this freak, Well it is like going back in time, He was wearing a starred jumper, flared pants, and platform shoes. Come to think of it they were all dressed more or less the same, Apart from those that were clearly tramps.
