FULL-TIME: Coventry City 1 Burnley 2

CHARLIE Austin scored a stoppage time winner against 10-man Coventry to get Burnley back on track.

The Clarets went behind after a disappointing and goalless first half as Cody McDonald headed in a Chris Hussey cross just before the hour.

Going into the game following back-to-back defeats, and after picking up only one point this season after falling behind, Burnley must have feared the worst.

But Ross Wallace equalised with his third of the season in the 73rd minute.

It came at a price as Jay Rodriguez was injured in the build-up and went off for stitches to a facial injury.

Coventry youngster Gael Bigirimana went off permanently with 10 minutes to go as a two-footed lunge at Kieran Trippier resulted in a red card on his 18th birthday.

And the Clarets capitalised in the third minute of stoppage time, with Wallace turning provider this time.

Chris McCann received the winger's corner with his back to goal, the ball broke free for Austin and he fired his eigth of the season through a sea of bodies and beyond goalkeeper Joe Murphy to clinch a late win.
