BURNLEY had late chances to end Brighton’s unbeaten run in the Championship, but had to settle for a point after coming back from behind quickly.
The Clarets trailed inside the opening minute when Bobby Zamora was the quickest to react to Tomer Hemed hitting the bar and scoring his third in two starts.
But Burnley hit back from the spot in the fourth minute, after Michael Keane was impeded when trying to compete for a header.
Referee Simon Hooper had no hesitation in awarding a penalty, which top scorer Andre Gray converted for his 11th for the season.
