It has been reported that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will test Blackburn’s resolve with a bid for striker Roque Santa Cruz this week.

Manager Paul Ince has already said he wants the Paraguayan to stay at Ewood Park.

But the Gunners could table up to £10m if Emmanuel Adebayor is sold to Barcelona.

if Bentley is said to be worth £15 million, how the hell is Santa Cruz only £10 million!

Even Darren Bent went for £17 million, i wish these clubs would be realistic!

From what I have just seen, in the Euro,s, with regard to out and out CF's he has to be worth at least 20m.
Get rid of BM & JR, bring in the BULL Roque's international strike partner,
that would be 40 goal's a season.

Jason I totally agree with you.
I know that it’s very unlikely Santa's gonna leave us. But then if he does and Adebayor stays it's only obvious that he's gonna be spending most of his time on the bench.
Santa Cruz is an awesome player and the price sparkii bought him for last year was unbelievable. We can’t let go of him. He’s one of the best we’ve got. Even if it was Bentley they were after I wouldn’t have cared coz he’s said himself he wants a move away from Rovers.
Thairover we can’t get rid of Benni and Roberts coz we all know what JR can do and Benni will go back to his best. He just needs some time.
COME ON ROVERS!!

RSC did a suberb job for us last season. However if we were to be offered £15m+, it is definetly worth considering.
Before joining rovers, Roque averaged 5 goals a season over 5 years for Bayern Munich, who felt he was not good enough for them. Many players have had good seasons in the past, but failled to deliver on a regular basis (i.e McCarthy, Stead, Beattie, etc) what's to say RSC will not be any different to them, considering his previous record?
