clubs have trials all the time. so what's wrong with trialing another midfielder. if we lose someone like nzonzi and didn't at least start to try and look at other options, everyone would be in uproar at the negligence.

as for the portuguese connection, with kean having spent a lot of time there during his ealry coaching days, he probably has a network upon which to tap. so it's not particularly surprising that most of his efforts are focused there at the moment.

so far, we have people criticising bringing in older players, people criticising bringing in younger players, people criticising bringing in foreign players, people criticising bringing in uk players that have chosen to step down to the championship, people stating as a fact that the old squad will leave etc etc etc... must be quite difficut just trying to walk around with such jerky knees!

this is a pretty uneventful story, so why not see it as that for a change. we are bringing one or two in for a trial. if they impress, they might get a contract, if not then they wont. other than that i can't really see any issue here. i await the enlightening from the rest of you though!

No-one will ever stop me going to ewood. I have supported this club forever and that means supported it financially too. The only bomus this year is that most of the morons who booed their own team from the kick off will be sat at home booing at the TV. Superb. Just because of the onset of the internet which has spawned the internet warrior, the big talker with no action, and some on here have actually managed to LOG ON without any assistance, doesn't mean that I follow the self serving sheep. If you are not buying tickets, still travel to ewood on matchday and await the coaches arriving and give kean hell. Travel to away games banners galore no gestapo to stop us away from Ewood. They will find out that we haven't forgiven and will never forget. I will be there from the first friendly, Kean Out, before every home game Kean Out, during every away game Kean Out.

nobody cares about stadium's being empty especially blacburn's. Check what happened to teams like middlesborough and nobody flutter's an eyelid.We hadn't had massive attendances for year's, and i don't see the media give a crap when wigan are hovering around 10-15k and that's in the premiership!

I support KEAN, he is the best to continue as a manager for venkys BRFC, why for last 10 months he understand the heat of chickens and fans. He is a brave manager and best captain to rebuild his team. I love Blackburn rovers play on the field and win or lose I am with the team.

to be fair, they know a lot more about football than i ever will , so i would feel uneasy about being overly critical about such matters. we all know that kean and venkys have been beyond poor so far, but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are better placed to be making recruitment decisions than i am. as for the malaysian guy - there is absolutley no reason whatsoever that a player from malaysia wouldn't be a decent player. this guy may not turn out to be good enough, but absolutley no problem in having a look. we're not (and rarely have been) in a position to pick and chose from a perfect selection of choices, so let's just crack on where we can and prepare as best we can for teh coming season where kean will start off as manager and venkys will still be the owners. beyond that, let's hope we win some games and undergo a startling transformation in fortunes. if not, let's hope we can at least start with a change in the management.

The truth is "in the middle of the last season, I noticed blackburn is the only team who won the title other than 4 other teams in the history of league. Which makes me so emotional , I saw the old match of blackburn and become a fan of that club, I live in middle east and I know who is the owners of Manchester city, he is also from middle east. so we love the clubs and passion to watch some the best players together and rubbing shoulders to get best price in the market. Some how I fall in love with blackburn and I always follow there matchs with 100% support. So blackburn match is like watching a movie where Kean - is the Villan, Players are Stars, Fans are the audiance. All in one frame of 90 mts.

Players can come from any part of the world. But we don't have to waste time like "Modeste" like player, try and leave it. Boss should check his ability/technics to fire in ground. stamina to stay 120 mts......etc for young players as backup to fullfill all the tournaments with fit players.

Truth is the majority will be booing kean throughout every game. The voices of Kean Out will be heard louder than ever in a near empty stadium. If you are not buying tickets, still travel to ewood on matchday and await the coaches arriving and give kean hell. Travel to away games banners galore no gestapo to stop us away from Ewood. They will find out that we haven't forgiven and will never forget. I will be there from the first friendly, Kean Out, before every home game Kean Out, during every away game Kean Out.

Yeah, i took some time coming to my decision, I didn't take it lightly, but I mulled it over for ages. But as I say, I've seen the thin before, and I'm ready to shout and scream the boys some support. I don't care who owns it, I couldn't tell you who owned it before Jack walker and about 99% of people on here couldn't either without the help of Wikipedia. So I'm gonna be in the trenches, on me own if needs be, I'm fighting for the shirt. If some of you wet arses wanna grow some jaw, I'll be here waitin.

My point really is despite all the promise of money being there to spend we aren't seeing much being spent. This has now happened for several seasons and the money they are gaining on transfers is ridiculous.
Where has all the money gone, appreciate we have been relegated but Samba was sold at a time where they knew the money didn't need to be re-invested.

We also got some quality youth players who deserve a chance. Would some fans prefer a situation where we spent fortune, paid high wages, missed promotion and went in to administration just so they could say...I told you so! Sorry mate, this has happened too many times for people to think you are genuine.

The truth of the matter is this; it doesn't matter what you say, or I say, or Santa Claus says, the fans aren't coming back whilst Steve Kean is there. Some feel so strongly about it - they love their Rovers so much, and they want it back, and they want to go to the match - that huge amounts of fans, hardcore fans, are willing to carry on showing their vocal displeasure with him on match days as well.

I don't think there will be many fans who don't join in with "Steve Kean out" chants. I'm guessing the players will get cheered, as is right, but our manager is looking at a season of serious boos.

The club needs to face reality on this situation, rather than vainly posting on sites like this. The fans have made up their minds. This is football. Every other club in the world understands that. Our club knew that obviously when it was under the masterful steering of John Williams and before that the amazing generosity of Jack Walker. We are the only club in the world that doesn't understand that any more though.

So we instead get new posters telling us we need to give Steve Kean another chance. You are wasting your time though - nothing will change unless he goes. End of debate and that's just the cold hard truth.

Why would the owners not do the obvious therefore and get the fans flooding back? It just doesn't make any sense. Stupidity only washes so long as an excuse.

It really doesnt make sense, I know. They should have sacked him many times last season and especially when we got relegated. That would have been the easiest time to do it. I really don't understand why he is still here but he is. I am hoping I can just catch the goals somehow on the web now and not have to listen to his post match interviews this season coming. If they sacked him, attendances would double that is for sure. He has had way to many chances and is a complete idiot. But maybe even if we only have 5k supporters in the ground with no boos, we can start forming a strong team spirit and playing some good football because we have good players, not because we have a good manager.

The truth of the matter is this; it doesn't matter what you say, or I say, or Santa Claus says, the fans aren't coming back whilst Steve Kean is there. Some feel so strongly about it - they love their Rovers so much, and they want it back, and they want to go to the match - that huge amounts of fans, hardcore fans, are willing to carry on showing their vocal displeasure with him on match days as well.

I don't think there will be many fans who don't join in with "Steve Kean out" chants. I'm guessing the players will get cheered, as is right, but our manager is looking at a season of serious boos.

The club needs to face reality on this situation, rather than vainly posting on sites like this. The fans have made up their minds. This is football. Every other club in the world understands that. Our club knew that obviously when it was under the masterful steering of John Williams and before that the amazing generosity of Jack Walker. We are the only club in the world that doesn't understand that any more though.

So we instead get new posters telling us we need to give Steve Kean another chance. You are wasting your time though - nothing will change unless he goes. End of debate and that's just the cold hard truth.

Why would the owners not do the obvious therefore and get the fans flooding back? It just doesn't make any sense. Stupidity only washes so long as an excuse.

I really don't understand why he is still here but he is. I am hoping I can just catch the goals somehow on the web now and not have to listen to his post match interviews this season coming. If they sacked him, attendances would double that is for sure. He has had way to many chances and is a complete idiot. But maybe even if we only have 5k supporters in the ground with no boos, we can start forming a strong team spirit and playing some good football because we have good players, not because we have a good manager.

it wont be empty jack......it wont be full either but there will still be 15k plus on for the Hull game which is pretty decent considering everything that has happened.

If Mrs Desai does step down from the Rovers board then that leaves Kean really out there on his own - and unless he wins every game then the Rao brothers will have him out of Ewood double-quick.

The truth of the matter is this; it doesn't matter what you say, or I say, or Santa Claus says, the fans aren't coming back whilst Steve Kean is there. Some feel so strongly about it - they love their Rovers so much, and they want it back, and they want to go to the match - that huge amounts of fans, hardcore fans, are willing to carry on showing their vocal displeasure with him on match days as well.

I don't think there will be many fans who don't join in with "Steve Kean out" chants. I'm guessing the players will get cheered, as is right, but our manager is looking at a season of serious boos.

The club needs to face reality on this situation, rather than vainly posting on sites like this. The fans have made up their minds. This is football. Every other club in the world understands that. Our club knew that obviously when it was under the masterful steering of John Williams and before that the amazing generosity of Jack Walker. We are the only club in the world that doesn't understand that any more though.

So we instead get new posters telling us we need to give Steve Kean another chance. You are wasting your time though - nothing will change unless he goes. End of debate and that's just the cold hard truth.

Why would the owners not do the obvious therefore and get the fans flooding back? It just doesn't make any sense. Stupidity only washes so long as an excuse.

Matt as far as I can see the only people on here that 'follow' Kean are Dingles or 'make believe' fans.

It really doesnt make sense, I know. They should have sacked him many times last season and especially when we got relegated. That would have been the easiest time to do it. I really don't understand why he is still here but he is. I am hoping I can just catch the goals somehow on the web now and not have to listen to his post match interviews this season coming. If they sacked him, attendances would double that is for sure. He has had way to many chances and is a complete idiot. But maybe even if we only have 5k supporters in the ground with no boos, we can start forming a strong team spirit and playing some good football because we have good players, not because we have a good manager.

Then the 15k plus can get back to 20k plus and we can start to get our club back maybe?

I think it's a wonderful thought but no way will it be 15k under the current cloud surely.

The figure of 5k from these new posters is closer to the truth I feel. I thought Lancs Pensioner's 7.5k would be low, but I genuinely think now that the club already know the scale of the problem, and it's extremely serious and they now realise that it's not likely to change unless Kean goes.

Its okay Sassy, whilst you can stay at home bonged out of your skull case, most on here will be picking cushion covers and saying your arse doesn't look big in that. Me I'll be at ewood taking in my regular dose of the mighty blue and whites. Its sad that you and your like feel the need to desert your team in their hour of need. I can't understand why he has to go after the club, it was Kean who was filmed making the comments while in the pub!

I suspect it is because, 'under normal srvice' you would expect the club, the FA, the Managers Association to have 'reprimanded' him.
First and foremost the club would have been expected to have acted, but as we all know Kean can do no wrong, whether it is drink driving, antagonising supporters, or relegating the club.
Maybe this is Sams way of 'challenging' this 'shield' that Kean has somehow constructed.
