Yes Jack Walker's investment is the reason we won the PL. He was an extremely successful Blackburn local who wanted to use his money to achieve his dream for the club he loved. Blackburn fans are proud of their town and their club, and Jack is an example of that.

You seem to think that because we received financial investment, which subsequently led to achievement, we should now just give up everything that we've achieved since.

You've said yourself that Steve Kean is not fit to manage, and that 'the current regime leaves a lot to be desired'. Eighteen months ago we were a well-managed club with a solid board, and finished in 10th place under Sam Allardyce with very little financial investment at all. Are you saying that receiving money 20 years ago renders Venky's mismanagement and destruction acceptable?

No one is above their station. We are indeed a once proud club, that because of the way it was run within it's means, was very attactive to the football world. It had a core of thoughtful well meaning people working hard to keep this reputation. However, because it was so well run, this made it attractive to pirates. Because it had an established structure paid for and in place, it was like a magnet to the current owners. They put some money into an adventure that had more value in it's assets than they used to purchase. How on earth you feel you know Blackburn wasn't a once proud club, just makes you look like a big club supporter who dosen't like small fan base clubs mixing it with yours. Maybe you have an explanation of a great club,if Rovers are not one. How on earth you can use your opinion and pass it off as fact is bewildering.

No one is above their station. We are indeed a once proud club, that because of the way it was run within it's means, was very attactive to the football world. It had a core of thoughtful well meaning people working hard to keep this reputation. However, because it was so well run, this made it attractive to pirates. Because it had an established structure paid for and in place, it was like a magnet to the current owners. They put some money into an adventure that had more value in it's assets than they used to purchase. How on earth you feel you know Blackburn wasn't a once proud club, just makes you look like a big club supporter who dosen't like small fan base clubs mixing it with yours. Yes Jack Walker's investment is the reason we won the PL. He was an extremely successful Blackburn local who wanted to use his money to achieve his dream for the club he loved. Blackburn fans are proud of their town and their club, and Jack is an example of that.

You seem to think that because we received financial investment, which subsequently led to achievement, we should now just give up everything that we've achieved since.

You've said yourself that Steve Kean is not fit to manage, and that 'the current regime leaves a lot to be desired'. Eighteen months ago we were a well-managed club with a solid board, and finished in 10th place under Sam Allardyce with very little financial investment at all. Are you saying that receiving money 20 years ago renders Venky's mismanagement and destruction acceptable?

Experimentation and the blooding of fresh players has been fostered of late. You recall the poor start made by Howard Kendall at Rovers?
You must also accept, surely, that a new age of realism must be adopted at Rovers now.

A wider perspective is called for in this case, far beyond the narrow confines of a win ratio statistic. Barnsley have not been threatened with relegation this year despite the loss of key players. Experimentation and the blooding of fresh players has been fostered of late. You recall the poor start made by Howard Kendall at Rovers? You must also accept, surely, that a new age of realism must be adopted at Rovers now. As one of the leading proponents of the "Big Sam out" brigade, I realise you may be a little tetchy. However, your judgment does not seem to have improved much!

0-3 home defeat to Bolton and that infamous 7-1 defeat at Shrewsbury...you're right bazzer not a great start, Kendall's teams after that first season played some boring stuff, most games won by a single goal.......what is it with you and boring managers:-)....I'd sooner have a new Ken Furphey or Gordon Lee or Jim Smith....all pick out of the lower leagues and all moved onto better clubs(at the time) those are the types of managers that should be considered...ie...Ka rl Robinson (MKD)Gary Smith (SB)

Keith Hill for what he did at Rochdale - fair enough he would be better than Kean. It was a mistake to get rid of Big Sam if all you had lined up was Numpty Kean but I doubt many moured the style of Big Sam leaving Ewood and he has failed to take up West Ham automatic despite the best and most expensive squad in Championship history. . No Bazzer its a clean sweep for me and no going back in anger - 1st choice - new manager and new owners and hope we can rebuild in time to thrash Dingles! . 34th....

Best journalism on Rovers again this week is Jim Wilky in Accy Observer. Really lays into Kean not with agressiveness but a cold clinical KGB assasination! Best point is - When you see how average Norwich are it says everything about Kean's ability. He would fail in any division!
