The Lancashire Telegraph, in conjunction with Blackburn Rovers are launching the 2009/10 goal of the season competition, The Peter White Memorial Trophy, in memory of the Telegraph’s late Rovers reporter Peter White.

A shortlist of 12 wonder-strikes and great team moves have been drawn up and we want readers to pick your top three.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce will make his own selection and, as a special bonus, those entrants who match the manager’s 1-2-3 in the correct order will be entered into a prize draw to win a signed shirt by the winner and Big Sam.

To enter, simply fill in the form below, clearly stating your first, second and third best goals.

The deadline for votes is Monday, April 26 and the winning scorer will be presented with the prestigious trophy ahead of the final Premier League home game against Arsenal on Saturday, May 1.
