One more thing....Jordan Rhodes, either he is not that good and we've ruined him already or he was poor to start with. Of all the players I was most disappointed with him. He looked slow, clumsy and lost the ball too easily...

Absolutely spot on. How can a professional in the game not realise that the lack of midfield was to blaim. For me it's got to be a 442 formation with one defensive lying midfielder and one box to box midfielder. I agree that Pedersen has been poor during open play but he will create chances from dead ball situations. And please drop Bradley Orr and Danny murphy.

It is imperative that we get the right manager. Someone who will organise the players on the field, someone who will stand up to Venkys and shebby off it. For the right man it's quite a simple job. We have a very strong squad. Maybe we are a midfielder, new right back and a centre half shy.

Get the right manager in and we should walk this league, get it wrong and it could be a disaster.

I was prepared to give black a chance, but in the three games he's been in charge things have got worse.!!! - I don't think he's the man for the job, but if they stick by him I can only see more fan unrest and a never ending downward spiral.

Poor strikers don't score 40+ goals in a season...doesn't matter what league you're in. Rhodes is a top top striker and will be great under someone who can inspire him...who better than someone who wore the Rovers number 9 shirt himself??

I did not say that I was a Allardyce fan, Allardyce just happened to be the blokes name in charge, when this sorry story started to unfold, but it was a fact of life that when the posts on this forum called for his sacking, (we have people on here who will never be happy) and the club responded, things went from bad to worse. That is the point I was making, and that we should get behind the club. I would not call that bizarre.

You are right. There were many round me that constantly complained about Sam and were thrilled when he was sacked. Those inexperienced owners who were clueless about football but were only interested in publicity and initially making their mark, responded to what they heard about Sam from fans, other managers. Those same fans and other managers (many who regulalry slagged Sam off and caused rifts) then began to stick up for him. All of those hypocrites got what they asked for in my opinion but left us in the middle of a train crash

Hurry up venky's and singh sort this mess out and get the right manager.

Rovers were garbage not just today, but most of the time last season and the season before that. That is the reason we are in this position today. At least when Sam was in charge we were holding our own in mid table. Reading posts on this forum from some so called fans to get rid of him paid off. No matter who we get as manager,or players that he may bring in, even with a open cheque book, there is going to be no quick fix, but rather a hard slog to get back into the premier league, and back to this once great club called BLACBURN ROVERS. So come on all you fans who have a negative outlook, bury the hatchet and lets hear the cry c'mon "ROVERS"

So you say don't dwell on the past and move on, yet you can't get over Sam Allardyce yourself. Bizarre.

I did not say that I was a Allardyce fan, Allardyce just happened to be the blokes name in charge, when this sorry story started to unfold, but it was a fact of life that when the posts on this forum called for his sacking, (we have people on here who will never be happy) and the club responded, things went from bad to worse. That is the point I was making, and that we should get behind the club. I would not call that bizarre.

You are right. There were many round me that constantly complained about Sam and were thrilled when he was sacked. Those inexperienced owners who were clueless about football but were only interested in publicity and initially making their mark, responded to what they heard about Sam from fans, other managers. Those same fans and other managers (many who regulalry slagged Sam off and caused rifts) then began to stick up for him. All of those hypocrites got what they asked for in my opinion but left us in the middle of a train crash

are these the same owners that listen to the fans who wanted Kean out?.....don't be so navie the owners got rid of Allardyce for thier own reasons, nothing to do with a few fans disliking him.

A few opinionated, clueless fans who could not see longer than their nose. We remember them!

I agree. The clown sets up the team with 7 defenders, 2 midfielders and 2 strikers and he is surprised when we create nothing and get beat 1-0 at home. DOH! - Its got nothing to do with presence up front you numbskull. Its got everything to do with your negative team selection and negative tactics, which basically meant we were never going to get anything more than a 0-0 draw from the game.
