perderson is not the same player he was, his legs have gone. Did you see him last season against west brom when he let the WBA striker go and he scored. Pederson stopped running and let him go. He is a great guy but age has caught up with him.

Shebby is Venkys representative and face in Blackburn and he insinuated at meeting he can sack Kean if his performance from now ownwards does not meet targets, one of them could be losing 3 games on the trot.

If he is doing the same to Kean (as what Kean did to Allardyce) at least he's not doing it behind his back. Seems like he made it perfectly clear. Kean gets sacked if he loses three consecutive games this season.

He made it clear that he WILL be judged from next Saturday on results which is where the 3 consecutive loss statement came from. The fact that the session was all on camera and its all over the news, he MUST stand by what he said - he HAS to, so Kean is a dead man walking as we all know the likelihood of him losing 3 games on the bounce by the end of September is as likely as a Dingle having a fumble with his sister.

I'd like to make the point that the meeting was really well put together and the action group deserve a huge amount of credit for their work. Also, think what you like about Shebby Singh but it took a lot of balls to do what he did today. If he follows through with the noises he was making he could be the turning point in this 2 year nightmare!

Come on Shebby, make yourself a legend and get it done lad!

P.S. his comments on Peds were tongue in cheek and I think he made those comments at a time where the room was a bit tense as every question was about removing the bald one. He defelcted things to get a reaction in my opinion.

IF ???? - obviously you wernt there - SS talked extensively about MGP and why he was now "cr@p" - to be fair to the vast majority of the 500 crowd, they were very unhappy about his comments and let him know it - they were very, very unprofessional and in very poor taste.

Also, If you continue to doubt all the comments on here about what SS said about MGP (or anything else at the meeting) then there was, at least, 2 TV crews recording the event, 1 was sky, not sure who the other one was but I'm sure you could find the whole SS Q&A session on the internet in due time, if you search hard enough.

May I firstly say this is not a negative response to your comments?. Just my take on what you have suggested.

The reason for doing it now would be to avoid the near certainty of us struggling this season. Having failed to do it when they should have done makes the Summer the logical time to do it.

A new manager would have more chance to bring in players HE wants and work with them without having to make do and mend half way through the season. I suppose that would have been the case to an extent had Kean been sacked last December, although he would have had the January window to at least make changes to the squad.

A stable club? We'll have to wait and see on that one. Merely putting bums on seats in the boardroom does not automatically result in stability. Nor does hiring an ex-Rovers legend as a coach and a glorified taxi driver into the responsible position of ground manager.

As far as changing the manager goes in the Summer - that particular horse has already bolted (stable, horse bolted, geddit?......alright

I agree with you not wanting Westley; he has done nothing at PNE and, having watched them a couple of times on the telly, his style of play seems to draw from the Allardyce shool of thought - just not as effective.

Can we not look beyond Preston for new recruits to the back room staff? Not very "global" Mr Singh.

Neither the owners nor the $cheister have the experience or connections to make any appointments outside the tight inner circle already at the club.

They have clearly relied on Kean's recommendations - Agnew, Hendry, Kato (ground manager) - all his supporters. The knock on effect has brought in the guy from PNE as chairman (sorry, forgotten his name) and now the rumour, if true, of another PNE man being in the frame.

Who would advise them who should take over from Kean if they did do the decent thing and put us out of our collective misery? Agnew, whatsisname, the $cheister? The first two have effectively been hired by Kean whilst the other has already failed to do it, despite being the owner's supposed advisor.

And £9m? More mouths writing cheques they aren't prepared to cash I'm afraid.
