kean says there were many different resons why we didnt maintain our status - I can only think of one and thats you con man kean.

Does he look bothered? 18 months of listening to keans garbage and getting beat every week would drive most to look for a way out.
The last paragraph is interesting to all but the kean luvvies.

So tucked away at the end of this article is a sentence describing the further dismantling of the backroom structure. Presumably these members of staff are the ones who look after the lads at the academy. Why do members plural interest a number of clubs - because the academy is well respected so far. looks to me like the academy set up is going the same way as the first team. As for Nzonzi my money is on him being sold before the transfer window shuts hes not going to withdraw his transfer request and make up with Kean. venkeys wont pay £x per week wages for someone who has fallen out with Kean you only have to look at the players manouvred out in the last twelve months.

Mr Cryer, can you not ask Nzonzi if he would stay if we dunked the doughnut instead? Would he commit if kean wasn't here? Also can you ask someone at the club, are we going to spin Nzonzis transfer out and accept a bid at the last minute so we have no time to sign anyone other than the free transfers we already have. That way the transfer money can dissappear like the monies from the Samba fiasco?

Yes, that last bit about further backroom staff possibly going does not look good. Backroom wages are not as high as players and the right support can make the most of average players. In cycling, Sky's budget is not the highest, yet they are having a great Tour de France because they have spent the money they have on decent riders coupled with superb back-up. I'm starting to be concerned again that after a few high profile appointments (Singh, Agnew and Shaw), we are back to dismantling.

At least if he's not under Kean's training regime there's a good chance of him being physically fit for the start of the season. If we do force him to stay we could need players who can run for 90 mins!!

All those people who said "the players want to play for him" must be feeling a bit silly now!!

Steven N'Zonzi is a good tall midfielder and young, but for top level playing 90 mts he is still not fit(some lazy attitude). This is the right time to show his commitment and decipline to get back his FITNESS and support from Murphy too.By the end of 2014, NZonzi can be a top midfielder with vast experience and he will be in demand with other clubs. But now I did not seen that much, clubs are looking for substitutions only and Nzonzi will be in the bench and fade away. He need playing time more and more to get the real Zonzi out.................
.So I feel with rovers he can build that respect, if he likes....other team members need to talk with him to get his confidence back if he is not happy to talk with manager Kean. None of the club buy him for 10mil for sure. So why he should sit in the bench and cry, Lets Play and see the difference and enjoy the game.

I would be very surprised if that is the actual tone used by N'zonzi, but instead it's the regime at Ewood being the reason he doesn't wish to play for ?

Not many down the years, in public anyhow. have said they do not wish to play for the club, but always the manager.

Many thousands of good folk's will not be attending Ewood purely down to the direction our football club is going in driven by this divisive repulsive character.

I always accept that a ratio of players leave a club as natural wastage, but this period is messy to say the least !

Of course, the replacements, as is usual, we would hope are direct and of improved caliber to those leaving. Yakubu as the exception I would surmise that thus far we are sadly lacking in every department since the 'Odious One' as taken charge ?

I guess the new season will reveal just what progression is being made under this lot ?

I for one agree with Rovers stance on this - No player should ever think that they are bigger than the club. No matter what is going on at the club, how its being run. Before you all jump on the bandwagon and say I am one of Kean's (This is how you spell it) PR guys, then I've been going since 1987.
I am looking forward to the season, some good signings, some questionable signings but all in all think we've got a chance to go straight back up.

As if Con man kean has turned over a new leaf, and all the positive predictions are more true than last years.

Is this selfish by all those unable to resist going back, just in hope that last year was made up, and he didn't really predict top four, never relegated, then straight back up?
They can be forgiven I suppose for all the smokescreen surrounding suggestions and allegations of player trouble and astounding agent's fees.

Those who can't be forgiven are the ones with the plan, the ones who are steering this mess, and releasing just enough information to get people arguing and losing track of how bad things have become, fans blaming each other for what is totally in the hands of the club owners and directors.

It would be useful if there was a no holds barred interview with Kean to get his response to his CV at Rovers, coupled with his outrageous predictions, and why so many so called knowledgeable personnel follow such rubbish.

It is called Optimism, without it you would not bother getting out of bed in a morning never mind spending a cold wet winters afternoon watching your team in a drafty stadium hoping for a win.
You have to be an optimist to attend matches, how many teams win anything in their respective leagues? 1 or 2 if you count runners up
So why do the rest of us bother knowing that we are not going to win?
