Perhaps it would be better if we all stopped commenting full stop. After all there is nothing we can do about it.. The only action we can take is to stay away from Ewood Park and that isn't until next month. In the meanwhile we are all getting agitated and upset by all the rumours and nothing stories being bandied about. Keanwill do his thing irrespective of whatever we sy. o I sa just let him get on with it. the proof of the pudding will b in the first game at Ipswich. Then we will see that nothing has changed and we will be in for another rough season, probably culmunating in another relegation. Then perhaps we will finally see the end of Kean, but I am not putting any money on that!
No-one will ever stop me going to ewood. I have supported this club forever and that means supported it financially too. The only bomus this year is that most of the morons who booed their own team from the kick off will be sat at home booing at the TV. Superb. Just because of the onset of the internet which has spawned the internet warrior, the big talker with no action, and some on here have actually managed to LOG ON without any assistance, doesn't mean that I follow the self serving sheep. I make my own decisions in life and I always will. I support my team through thick and thin. So this is the thin, I've been here before. Ever heard the saying when the going gets tough, the tough stay at home and boo at the TV, thought not. I will be there when all the stay aways are walking round Lidle looking for potatoes and peas while I'm cheering on the portugeezers.
Truth is the majority will be booing kean throughout every game. The voices of Kean Out will be heard louder than ever in a near empty stadium. If you are not buying tickets, still travel to ewood on matchday and await the coaches arriving and give kean hell. Travel to away games banners galore no gestapo to stop us away from Ewood. They will find out that we haven't forgiven and will never forget. I will be there from the first friendly, Kean Out, before every home game Kean Out, during every away game Kean Out.
Hi RUinsane,You have got some "Balls" coming on here with your opinion and although I may disagree you are welcome to give it, I will be following Jeromes way though, dont get mad if we differ in our views we all want the same and that is our club back, take heart everyone we will get there in the end. Darener you sound a bit down today, come on give some positivity, you can sing "Kean out" to your hearts content at Accy on Saturday. Frenchy I am trying my best here?
great stuff lads,, GET HIM OUT OUT OUT"

Rovers looking for a fourth Iberian

BLACKBURN Rovers are on the trail of their fourth Portuguese player of the summer – with Porto midfielder Paulo Jorge having started a trial yesterday.

The 18-year-old, who played for Porto under 19s last season, has come through the youth ranks at his club and the Portuguese national team and will be given a chance to shine by Blackburn over the coming days.

Jorge, whose full name is Paulo Jorge Gomes Pereira, is expected to feature in a behind closed doors friendly against Macclesfield tomorrow, where the majority of Steve Kean’s current squad will be given a run out.

Jorge is understood to prefer playing in deep central midfield role and has been described by Portuguese sources as a tough-tackling midfielder.

Rovers have already signed two Portuguese players this summer in striker Nuno Gomes from Braga and winger Fabio Nunes from Portimonese, while they continue to chase Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.

Silva, 23, is under contract at Sporting and is continuing negotiations with them this week, with Rovers hopeful he will tell his employers he wants a switch to Ewood Park.

Rovers would only have to pay minimal compensation for Jorge, should he impress at Brockhall this week, as they continue their attempts to build a youthful squad, with some experience among it.

Jorge is relatively unknown away from his home club but has international pedigree at youth level, having most recently played for Portugal under 19s.

Jorge will be joined on trial by Malaysian defender Titus James Palani later this week as he looks to become the first from his country to make it in English football.

Rovers pre-season preparations will continue back in England after returning from an intense summer camp in Austria over the weekend.

Rovers fans will get their first glimpse of the club’s new signings at Saturday’s friendly double header against Fleetwood and Accrington Stanley at the Crown Ground on Saturday.

Danny Murphy, Leon Best, Nunes and Gomes should all feature, as should trialists Jorge and Palani.

Rovers remain on the look-out for a versatile defender to add to their squad before the start of the new season, while they will look elsewhere for a central midfielder if their attempts to land Silva prove unsuccessful.
