Could we please have a seperate forum/thread for the people who just post negatives. This thread is about a new signing and his hopeful ambitions at Rovers, and yet people see fit to slag him off. Give the guy a chance. Negatives are fine, where warranted, and everybody is entitled to their own opinion. All is not rosy at Ewood, but having to trawl through all the repetative dross about not buying a season ticket, hate this person and that, only going to away games etc is boring. If some of you "negs" attend away games and continually abuse Kean and not get behind the team, then I would expect few away points - probably the result you want, however, are you a true supporter? The club should ensure that away tickets are only available to season ticket holders. Rant over, and I am awaiting the abuse!! Looks like Chorley FC is now out of bounds in view of Garry Flitcroft's comments, but then again, do other clubs want to put up with moaning fans.
Hi Paul, so you want a seperate thread for the 'negatives' but at the same time people 'are entitled to their opinion'? You seem as confused as in your interview the other day when you claimed we'd been fighting relegation for the last 5 years. If you stick to soundbites about being 'positive' and 'wiping the slate clean' you won't get so easily confused again. Good luck, you soulless, guff-spouting, Alan Partridge-esque delight of a human being.
Just how many PR accounts do Rovers have on here? I don't know; the lengths that the club will go to, to cause a division between the fans. A classic Kean trait is this. He's been at it ever since the Arsenal game last season, with his 1% nonsense.

It's purely a diversionary tactic, to hoodwink his puppeteers in India, into thinking he still has the support of the fans. Even some fans are being taken in, and are willing to give this evil regime a second chance.

What have they done to deserve any support at all? NOTHING! They have brought nothing but shame and humiliation to this once proud club. They have destroyed EVERYTHING that Jack Walker built. They are not here to develop the club, and to preserve the legacy of Jack Walker, like they PROMISED to do. They LIED, and have continued to do so ever since.

Don't be fooled by their ongoing propaganda. Their reasons for being here are less than honourable. They have absolutely NO INTENTIONS of fulfilling the PROMISES they made, when they bought the club. There is not ONE aspect of the club that has been improved. I can only see FAILURE; at EVERY LEVEL. I really can't understand why anyone can still keep giving money to these scoundrels.

Out with the lot of 'em!
Captain, The Paranoia meter has gone into overdrive.

I CAN'T HOLD HER MUCH LONGER CAPTAIN - SHE'S GOING TO BLOW

Blackburn Rovers new boy Gomes has World Cup dream

NUNO Gomes believes his shock Blackburn Rovers move could hand him an international lifeline – as he bids for a dream World Cup finale.

The 36-year-old signed a two-year deal at Ewood Park last week and revealed he turned down several other offers, including one from Premier League Everton.

The former Benfica, Fiorentina and Braga striker has played in World Cups and European Championships for Portugal and hopes his English switch could earn him an international recall.

He insists helping Rovers back into the Premier League at the first attempt is the priority but believes that could also earn him a place in Portugal’s squad for the World Cup in 2014.

He said: “The talks began two weeks ago. It was quite fast. I had other offers, even from Everton from the Premier League, but everyone here made me feel at home. That was very important for me.

“I’m going to live in Manchester. It’s an hour trip and my family will be with me there. I hope also that Black-burn can help me, perhaps I could even be at the 2014 World Cup with Portugal.

“I had offers from Braga and also Benfica, but wanted to play in England. I had some talks with guys from the MLS and from Everton, but the guys from Rovers convinced me.

“They want me to help the team reach the Premier League. That’s the main goal, the Premier League. I think I can become an idol to the fans. At every club I’ve played, I had the fans’ support and hope I can get it there as well.

“I always loved English football. In England everyone looks at what the player does on the pitch. They don’t look at how old we are. I think I can score many goals, and who knows, after two years maybe I can renew thecontract.”
