Blackburn Rovers boss preparing for the Premier League
2:10pm Saturday 7th July 2012 in News
By Andy Cryer, Blackburn Rovers reporter
STEVE Kean insists Blackburn Rovers are already preparing for their Premier League return – but admits they are resigned to doing it without Junior Hoilett.
The Canadian starlet is currently without a club after his Rovers contract expired but, despite keeping their offer on the table for him, Kean admits they are now preparing without him.
It is understood QPR and Newcastle are among the Premier League teams interested in Hoilett, while there are also numerous suitors from abroad.
But, with Danny Murphy, Leon Best and Nuno Gomes already on board this summer, and other signings planned, Kean believes Rovers are looking beyond just getting promotion.
He said: “The thing is Junior is out of contract.
“We put an offer in front of him that never had any signature. We have to plan without him now.
“The type of signings we are making shows you what we are trying to do this season. We have been working hard. Myself and Shebby Singh flew back from a meeting with the owners in Zurich on Friday morning.
“When we get to the level we want to get to, we are signing players who can play at that level.
“It is not just players who can get you there, it is players who have already done well there.
“You can get players who might get you out of the league and then they might struggle a little bit. But Leon Best and Danny Murphy and Nuno Gomes are players of pedigree and quality.”
The addition of 36-year-old former Benfica striker Gomes has raised eyebrows among some.
But Kean is adamant the striker is not coming here ‘to graze’ and is hopeful the majority of last season’s squad will also stay together.
Kean said: “If Nuno had wanted to go into the sunset he would have gone to Qatar or LA, he wouldn’t have come to the north west.
“I know what sort of financial package he could have got elsewhere. He has certainly not come here to graze.
“I have been talking to most of the players and they are telling me they want to stay. Whether they are telling their agents something else I don’t know.
“We would like to keep the majority of the squad together. We think we can have, if not the best squad, one of the best squads in the league.”

Best thing now is probably to ignore him.
Forget he is stood there, alone, hands in pockets, festering - pretend we cannot see him as he could not see the 'plane.
Turn off the television if he is on and ask the press to not interview him or report anything he says.
Maybe one day we will wake up and find it was all a bad dream.

SK can twist it maybe better than the lot of them! So perhaps he really is a superbly positive, brilliant manager. Venky's and their appointed ones certainly seem to think so. It's maddening that the new players seem to think so too.
.
So sad that a man who has adapted so well to the modern way of life of booze, lies and **** hasn't got a clue about football and Blackburn.

The fans are aware of that, the players are aware of that, some members of the owning family are aware of that.
Sadly, Kean, himself and Mrs Desai, are not.
Unless we protest about his continued employment he will remain in charge, totally deluded and driving the club to oblivion at an alarming speed.

This is getting ridiculous now."The claims made by our source, that the Stadium Manager John Newsham, who is no longer with the club and his team had been following orders from above to prioritise preventing protests, ahead of supporter safety is of massive concern to us, as an FSF affiliated supporters group."
Since Venkys weren't even at the match and Kean was busy "working" his magic to get us relegated as was his apparent gameplan, who may I ask would be responsible if not the stadium manager?
Maybe Newsham was fired for his negligence?

I'll wager its closer to 10 than 5.
Away support only is choice, sure it will cause embarrassment to Venky's (if they ever attend), but it will be water off a ducks back for the unsackable one.
The people it will hurt most is the team as it would serve only to demoralise the players playing in front of an empty stadium, and I and thousands like me will be there SUPPORTING THE TEAM and ensuring that doesn't happen. The 2mill or so lost in ticket sales to Venky's is literally chicken feed to them compared to how much they will receive and probably already have received in other payments.

I think we have to accept that Kean is going no where (for the time being anyway). As a compromise what about appointing an experienced proven manager and for Kean to take on a different role at the club. What is absolutely clear is that either Kean has a financial interest or some other hold on the club because this is a first for one so incompetent not to get the sack following relegation. I suppose if you own the club anyone who does not like it can get stuffed; the supporters views just do not either matter or count. Up yours!
However, last weekend ‘unsackable’ Kean was quoted on Sky Sports as having said the owners didn’t consider his position in their meetings and talks in India and Zurich have been “open and positive”.
Now Kean says: “Myself and Shebby Singh flew back from a meeting with the owners in Zurich on Friday morning.”
Zurich? Kentaro’s home base! So, no matter how much Anderson denies it, they are still involved. And what authority do Kentaro/Anderson wield?
Curiously, those quotes on Sky were quickly deleted from the captions at the bottom of the screen. On whose authority, I wonder?

He has no doubt full control of the club, and is happy to lie as and when required. Any preson working at Ewood has this lying toad to answer to. How much more proof does anybody need that he can't control his gob? just because he says something good about the future of the club, fans don't have to agree, because he sounds like he means it.
He says he isn't thinking about relegation, not possible, he says.
He is a useless Manager, his players hate him and his decieteful ways, they get paid to play football, so they can say nothing.
It is very rare that a person so mad has got a top job in football. The proof is his talking far out weighs his actions. When you give Blackburn your up front payments, you are helping this lyers credibility a little, but I'm sure you know that by now. Hopefully when the club starts to drop like a stone next season, he will be dealt with, but looking at all the chances he was given last season as he failed miserably I doubt it, bottom five at Christmas if he is still in charge.

All this talk of asset stripping, but why didnt Venkys cash in on the likes of Hoillett when they had a chance rather than let him walk for free knowing he would not sign?
Why bother with any new players at all if asset stripping and profiteering was the goal, when there's enough juniors in the academy to fulfill most positions?

He is completely bonkers. Only Best has played in the Championship and he was always injured. No wonder he feels so at home at Brockhall...
I agree, we have to get behind the team and forget our "manager"
As for him talking to the players lets see how many stop, any bets anyone, the players are not stupid!
Kean and his Mrs out
So you are going to every away game, paying visitor prices at OT , Chelsea etc plus the cost of travelling etc and the extra time involved and all on a pension?
SK is more believable than that.
What about the wife/ significant other? They wont have a say in you roaming the country spending 4or5 times the cost of a home game?
Yeah right, and don't bother trying the wife died and left me all her money bs so I could lead my protest against the evil one

Wild Rover seems to thing that Woevers will be playing at OT and Chelsea next season. When it was pointed out to him that Woevers were relegated to the Championship last season he tries to turn it around by saying it was clever ruse to trap someone....yes very clever you certainly fooled everyone Wildy.
Meanwhile Lancs Pensioner is obsessed with images of Mr & Mrs Kean sitting in "there beauty full" home sipping "champange" and counting cash.

If the club was such a well oiled gem, why were there so few buyers?
Why were the Walkers Trust so desperate to sell? What were THEIR criteria for fit and proper ownership of their mentors legacy? Were the revered John Williams and company disconnected from the sale?
Surely if Kean and unknown agents held titleship to the assets that are BRFC which were sold, Walkers Trust lawyers would have been party to that information and thus party to the crime?
If the now infamous 400 page document had evidence of wrong doing, why haven't arrests been made, whilst building a case takes time, any criminal activity would immediately be minimised by court orders restricting any further destruction to the club, had iron cast proof of criminal behaviour been presented, as is the case of ALL criminal cases of this sort?
Are we to assume that the remaining players, both new and old are innocently oblivious to the dodgy backend dealings, being closer to the club than any one of us, yet through talking to various "insiders" the action group have uncovered what the players are oblivious of, or is the assumption that the players are involved too?
And lastly, given the serious libelous nature of the allegations, if there has been conclusive evidence provided by the action group to the authorities, instead of hearsay, inciteful opinions and suspected motives whatnot, the end result of the aforementioned owners, agents and managers tenure should be coming to an abrupt end very soon, should it not?
Why then are the same people who believe in these conspiracy theories:
a) Constantly referring to the document and its intended consequences, thus risking jeopardising such proceedings and
b) Why so much animosity to those who are renewing season tickets and attending the games and attempts to dissuade fans forcefully being made with herd-like ferocity, if it's all about to come crashing down anyway?
The vultures appear to have been circling the good ship Ewood ever since it was purchased by Venky's, and maybe dodgy agents motives and good bollywood skullduggery IS about to be unmasked.. but maybe there are other coyotes also circling licking their lips at the prospect of an easy gain whilst the kill appears to be wounded...

A throw away statement designed to cause trouble with players. He knows they are not allowed to express their true feelings and deliberately taunts them. He is one dodgy geezer.

Most people believe there is something else going on because Steve Kean is still our manager. No other manager in footballing history has done so badly, or has even got close to alienating their fans as much, but is still in a job. But Venkys don't want to sack him, they suddenly want to splash the cash in a desperate attempt to keep him.
There are definitely something suspicious therefore going on within the club, that is without question. I have never referred to any "document" to show any kind of conspiracy, so stop tarring people with the same brush. The facts speak for themselves.
Who are these other "vultures" circling though blueblooded, and more importantly who are these "dark forces" you talk about?
It's funny because the only people to have publicly mentioned any "dark forces" at work against Venkys is Steve Kean and Jerome Anderson. And of course new users online like yourself, but you could be anyone of course, including obviously Steve Kean.
Yet another brand new user on here the other week accused me of being one of these dark forces. That user, who was a short lived but busy poster, knew an awful lot of inside info on the club, but then disappeared. They actually went further and accused me of being the leader of the EDL!!
Is that the dark forces you have been lying about? Is that what you have told the Venkys? That the reason that their ownership has been an unmitigated disaster is because of racism, not the truly terrible advice and management from the obvious parasites. Is "this dark forces" thing a big lie about racism which is keeping this charade going?
You want people to show their evidence, so you need to stop being a hypocrite yourself, and name your vultures and dark forces. Or are you going to be exactly like Steve Kean and Jermone Anderson, where something totally unspecific is mentioned, but absolutely nothing follows it up in the way of evidence or even details?
Who are these dark forces blue blooded? Why won't you even say who they are?

For a start lets ditch this 'true support' nonesense.
Those who go and a watch a football team are just supporters, full stop.
Some may be more passionate than others, but so what.
I myself have not 'supported' BRFC all of last season because I do not care for Venkys at my club, and SK as 'so called' manager.
Being a paying customer (up to end of 10/11), it is my right to choose whether to attend or not.
I do not see the club I supported as BRFC at present, I see them as Venkys FC. So I prefer to consider myself as a non supporter of VFC.
If others decide they are still BRFC and they can stomach paying to attend them whatever, fine good luck to them. I cannot, as they are an insult to my integrity and intelligence.
If and when Vekys 'mend their ways' and start to behave decently, I may re-consider.

You commented " because you think they get nothing from away ticket sales..... come on"
.
It's been my understanding that, for many years now, the home club kept ALL gate receipts.

This was because the big clubs, ManU etc, who could generate the big gates wanted to keep that revenue and not share receipts with the visiting club. To my knowledge this is still the case.

If it changed, when did it? Just like to know.

Seems like the dark forces at play here are not just the owners kean and agents.
Why are the action group so keen to criminalise Venkys? The latest fire story shows a very clear intent to discredit the management, whereby clearly it would have been the then stadium manager that would have been held to account.

As I recall everyone moaned about things like scalding hot bovril to blind referees and from players getting too much money and current managers being rubbish. A lot has changed - but a lot stays the same.
The only time before now that fans passion was really roused by the club was after the 60 cup final when the ticket distribution was terrible and many long standing and loyal Rovers fans missed the final cos they couldn't get a ticket. A lot of those fans vowed never to set foot on Ewood again and a lot (probably 3 to 4k IMO) never came back. That loss was from crowds that were usually in the mid to high 30,000's but it was still a loss for a small town team like the Rovers. We cannot afford to lose that number of fans again.
The 60 cup final fiasco became one of the main talking points for the next 25 or 30 years in every pub in Blackburn and district at least until Jack Walker came into the club. The number of times I got into arguments and heated discussions in tap rooms and snooker rooms all over the town with older blokes who could only spout the same old rubbish about not going since 1960...even at times when we had a decent side down at Ewood and were playing good football with a manager everyone liked, well these blokes seemed to bide their time and then revel in it when we lost or just missed out on promotion and they really got the digs in when we got relegated on more than one occasion!
I really wouldn't like to see another split like that between Rovers fans as I feel that would go on for years and years also and cause much bitterness among people who are really just loyal Rovers supporters...whateve

Some fans will choose to stay away (but still support the team) and some will choose to go on and watch support the team...but we are all still fans and we need to remember that.
I have no idea how all this will end - but end it must and soon now. Almost every fan is agreed that Kean is the center of everyone's angst and anger and frustration and it would seem easy to get most people back onside (mostly) by the owners getting rid of him. Just hope that common sense prevails over there in Pune and that we can all support our club together again.

For those who will boycott cos of Kean and Venkys then I would say around 3k and maybe 3k initially who wont go cos its not premiership football but might if we start doing well...
So for the first home match v Hull on a wednesday night then I guestimate' a crowd of around 15k Rovers fans and maybe 500 from Hull so around the 16k mark total.
I accounted for 20k Rovers fans who I think are true fans and the other 2 or 3k are what I would call 'floaters' who may or may not come depending on lots of other factors.

So what best can I do to show my strength of feeling to the owners about their cavalier behaviour which is damaging our football club?
My conclusion is despite missing my friends and my Rover's 'fix' I can do nothing better than to stay away until the owner's change their ways or sell up and leave . . . . and that is exactly what I intend to do.

I have not met nor talked to ANY Rovers fan that would back Kean in any sense of the word.
The club is about much much more than Kean and I think that every person that chooses to attend understands that. Just not sure that those Rovers fans that choose not to attend understand that also.
As for Rovers PR - well who gives a monkeys about that apart from our friends up the M65? We have had 18 months or more of the rubbish PR from Ewood and learnt to ignore it a long time ago. Also more importantly the general football media and fans everywhere know what a joke the PR has been and learnt like most of us not to believe a word of it.

Maybe Kean is the king of football, maybe he's going to do a james brown routine at the next home game.
I would also like to add that it gets on my nerves when Kean refers himself as the boss (as does Andy Cryer). The term Boss is normally earned through respect and ability. In this case though he refers himself as the boss, it has not been earned because of skill or ability. It has been earned by getting Sam Allardyce the sack, a man who has infinity more ability that he will ever have. As for promotion, you may try and sometimes succeed in leading people up the garden path again and again but I can assure that Blackburn Rovers have absolutely no chance of promotion not until Kean leaves completely; the man is a complete liability.

12k first home game fr, will definetly vary on weather/ispwich result that's my guess:)
.
A tad optimistic was that. The level of feeling against Kean and all is immense. I am aware of some that have renewed, but the ones I know who haven't is almost alarming. These are, or were, dedicated fans that made me look like a part-timer. They will be back, but they will choose when.
.
BTW Frenchie, did you follow Le Tour today? Terrific win for the French, the coach was amazing!!! Watch if you can.
.
Allez Les Bleus!
And yes my 16k is optimistic but then why live life with your glass half empty - much better to have it half full (or full) with a nice st Emilion red.
.
Not pessimistic about attendances, more realistic actually.
.
I'm not the glass half-empty person, if I was I wouldn't be at Old Trafford on Tuesday for the ODI!
.
You might try Chilean wines, Santa Alvara (if you can get) and Altitude, for a change. Cabernet Sauvignon's are fantastic value. A pint of Thwaites Wainwright before a meal, bottle of Chilean, a tray of pie, chips, peas and gravy!
.
Hey, full glass lol!!!
.
Next time you're home. Try the Assheton Arms at Downham (was there last night), sister pub of Oyster & Otter at Fenni. Gorgeous fish. The Neve family owners are THE people who run fishing out of Fleetwood and their fish is AWESOME.
.
Keep the faith.
Glad to hear your glass is full, long may it stay that way!

None, he has set his stall out as the untouchable provocateur.
His statements are not about what he is about to do but more about saying look what power I have, I can say this and it will be printed. I can say this because the fans will hate it, but nobody can say it's a lie, because it hasn't failed yet, and inevitably when it does, he is onto the next shocker, and it's more about what unbelieveable success he will be bringing the club, and again it never happens.
Nobody has brought him to account for all his failings, and this is why he continues unashamedly.
With his never admit defeat attitude he even had a large proportion of opposing fans saying he was being badly treated by his own fans, and he acted with dignity, how on earth did he turn that one round?
He is a very dangerous person with far too much power, and on previous form will say or do anything to promote himself, he has to go into politics.
It says a lot about the people who have recently gained employment under him at Ewood, only time will truely tell, but it looks very very bleak.

watch for the others.. its quite clear when you start picking up on them.

But you continue to bait me as its not enough for you is it, accusing me of evading the question and sounding like fickle fan?

No it's a personal choice. The fans have been totally ignored, lied too, insulted, stopped from displaying banners and expression, with no dialog with the club. The club went into self-destruct mode and has declined from a respected mid table PL team to the joke of football through a series of outrageous and illogical decisions. The team underperformed with the statistically worst manager in its history still employed and receiving big money. We the fans (season ticket holders) put up with it last season, to support the club and the manager, who said to judge him on results!, we did!
Yes a personal choice. To continue to pay for the above or wait until the club appologises and makes amends for the diabolical situation it created. I don't see much of that so far.
My choice is to not renew my ST or visit Ewood until I am coinvinced things have changed.

t of regret or apology from them whatsoever.
I am absolutely sure that at least 90 - 95% of the support, be them stay away or stay put, are sure the situation has been caused entirely by Venkys and Kean in an almost destructive manner.
Naivety will have paid a large part, but it is now over 18 months down the line, and all the informed advice offered has been beligerently shunned.
For me that hinges toward constructive destruction, intentional or otherwise makes no odds.
I am of the view that the money now being spent is relatively small in comparison to the money taken in, even when taking account of the massive drop in ticket sales, and moreso TV revenue.
It is when the parachute money dries up that the whole issue will come to a head.
But, I seriously suspect that Venkys will be gone by then, so they are not too concerned over that 'future'.
IF, they actually wake up to all this and amend their ways sharpish, it is remotely possible that some bridges can be rebuilt.

He is probably already writing down his excuses for next seasons Press conferences ( if anyone is there) - forget about the Premiership until you get us there then maybe you will have something to talk about .
Still waiting for the Manager to show INTEGRITY and state now that if after 10 games Rovers are not a top ten side he will RESIGN

Since Venkys weren't even at the match and Kean was busy "working" his magic to get us relegated as was his apparent gameplan, who may I ask would be responsible if not the stadium manager? Maybe Newsham was fired for his negligence?Maybe, but hiring a chauffeur who can look after himself in his place hardly inspires confidence, does it?
Those of you with longer memories may recall mismanagement of football stadia has not worked well.
Who else has been appointed this Summer?
Quite a few, although three of them have been Paul Agnew. Putting bums on seats does not constitute putting a structure in place.
Apart from the worrying appointment of 7th Dan Parker (T'bird fans will know who I mean), the owners have also appointed a Malaysian football pundit. "Giggs should play centre half, Gerrard right back and what does Messi do apart from score the goals?"; I don't know if he did actually come out with these gems but it would not surprise me. I also thought his reference to Ronnie Clayton's (RIP) book was a lttle distasteful, at best. Mentioning Ronnie's wife being in tears when she heard him wax lyrical about the influence it had on him was particularly insensitive.
People have said on here at least they are communicating but I sense a lot more embarrassing rubbish coming from our Global Advisor.
WTF is that, by the way? And what do we need to be globally advised about?
He was of course an existing Venky's employee so not much chance of him having any real influence.
So apart from already appointing the bib and cones man as team "boss" and the manager of a S American KFC as our man in Rio when it comes to spotting players, who else have we got?
Paul Agnew; from arranging the chairs in the press room, briefly to PR man and a similarly short stay as Operations Manager up to whatever the heck his latest title is. He'll be president of the USA at this rate. Does he know what he is doing? Why should he? They say you do well at a job and get promoted until you hit a position where you are useless; his meteoric rise has hardly given anyone the chance to see if he is worthy of any promotion at all.
Of course, being one of Kean's supporters does show an astute appreciation of which side his bread is buttered.
Mr Shaw; generally accepted as one of the major factors in PNE's fall from grace. Hardly a glowing reference for someone who is now running what is generally accepted as a bigger club - Dingles and PNE fans may disagree but that’s a fact of life.
I don't know anything about Mr Valentine, but the secretary has no responsibility beyond making sure all the paper is correctly shuffled.
And the latest gem; Colin Hendry, should it come to pass.
A playing hero but a lot of very murky water has passed under the bridge since then. Even before that he didn't seem very "Rovers through and through" when he downed tools to get himself a move to Rangers. As a coach and manager he has been an unmitigated disaster, so why does anyone think his appointment would be a good thing?
And as sorry as I would be for anyone who has gone through the personal trauma he has, that does not excuse what has happened since. A lot of people have lost loved ones but not many have stooped to levels he has.
So, inexperienced, under qualified, ignorant and already proven to be just plain useless. Apply to each as appropriate.
Planning for the Premiership? Whilst I would love it to be true, I do not hold out much hope.

Don't think most people would really disagree with you mr. whappen, but all the opinions you detailed about the managemnet team are a bit unneccesary.
You could 'disect' a lot of companies in and out of football and find exactly the same things - a frightened workplace. A place where there are people who are in positions they should not be in because they are not capable and do not have the right experience. (maybe they are being given the chance to prove themselves)
People who have been promoted above their level maybe because they are 'agreeable' people who take the company line on all things but get things done without the someone having to stand over them.
People who will do or say almost anything in favour of the company in order to keep their jobs and pay the mortgage etc instead of risking the all too real threat of being sacked. (I have known a lot of good and honest people in that position).
All that is quite commonplace in lots of companies and yet it doesn't make the management team bad people.
It is the owners of the company that are the bad people for creating and encouraging such a poor work environment for their employees in the first place.
When I say the people responsible then of course I mean the Venky family and their main representative across here - Steve Kean.
These are the people responsible for everything bad that has happened in the last 18 months or so and the really bad thing about it all is that the whole world had told them that - and yet still they seem to refuse to make any of the major changes to the club that would lift the atmosphere and make Ewood a decent place to work and to watch football in again.
I really don't think attacking the still quite new club management team really helps anyone.

When I stopped, I went home and away for about ten years until ever growing credit card bills made me make a decision only to go away occasionally.
I do not feel any less a Rovers supporter because of it.
Personally, I am dismayed at what has gone on and feel increasingly helpless in doing anything about it, not that I ever could; it's just my perception of them having no regard for their customers.
I have therefore decided not to go at all. I cannot bring myself to support such a regime, financially or otherwise.

Apologies if anyone has been around for longer, but the only person I remember being here all this time is "Morst The 88th Min Heartbreaker of Dingles!" Hi Morst, it's Finger Bang, apologies for not saying it was me sooner.
Me and Morst used to have terrible argy bargies over John Williams. I used to defend John venomously, but Morst used to say he should use his head and drop ticket prices. Do you know what though? Morst was right and John Williams realised it, and that's when the first reduction of season ticket prices happened all those years ago. It was the good old days obviously when all we had to get worked up about was the price of season tickets!
How did you know before everyone else that Goodwillie was leaving blueblooded? That other user Arglus, who has mysteriously disappeared now, he used to have the info first too. Way before anyone else in fact. Exactly like you do.
It means you are clearly well connected to the current strange regime at Rovers. There can be absolutely no doubt about that.
This is double good news if you see everyone as me, and therefore me as your all encompassing enemy somehow, because it means I am close to the truth about your "dark forces" racism lie.
Is that what's been keeping you in a job all this time Steve; a continued lie that the Venkys reign at Ewood has been a disaster because of racism? Whereas we all actually know it is complete incompetence from the manager and his shady advisers which is the real reason for the truly shocking state Rovers is in.

I am merely expressing my personal concerns based on their employment history, their apparent suitability (or lack of) and the manner in which they have achieved their positions within the club.
"People who have been promoted above their level maybe because they are 'agreeable' people who take the company line on all things but get things done without the someone having to stand over them.

I would expect nothing less than the employees of the club be consistent, whatever the party line, may be.
A lot of companies doubtless have a "frightened" workforce which feels obliged to keep on the good side of their employer to keep their job. Doesn't make it right or the best way a company, or in this case a football club, should decide on its recruitment. I work in an office and am well aware there is brown nosing a plenty going on. I would not be stupid enough to call my superior an idiot, not that I would ever have any reason to of course, no siree (just in case they’re reading this). If that makes me one of them, so be it. Of course we all have bills to pay - that is, as you suggest, life.
However, the way Kean has clung on to his job without too much effort suggests redundancy is not an issue for him or, by association, those appointed on what would appear to be his say so.
My main point is, most of these people have NOT “got things done” and there is no suggestion they are (all) personally bad people intended.

People who will do or say almost anything in favour of the company in order to keep their jobs and pay the mortgage etc instead of risking the all too real threat of being sacked. (I have known a lot of good and honest people in that position).
All that is quite commonplace in lots of companies and yet it doesn't make the management team bad people".

He has not earned support, he is only worthy of derision because he won't accept it is him, and hm alone, who was incompetent enough to see Rovers relegated.
He is not showing great heart (an unusual omment in repect of SK), he is a desperate man, blindly clinging to a position that 99.% of fan find intolerable. He hd a fresh start when he was appointed he had a fresh start last season when we escaedrelegation by the skin of our teeth. How many fresh startd you suggest he is granted?

To me support at present is to do anything possible to get this guy to leave and that means no attendance for our family until he goes. I can't see how other fans can see it any other way at present but its their choice.

If a manager signs a player and then sells him 12 months later, he should be sacked for that decision alone.
