PROVIDE A DECENT BUDGET? HOW MUCH CASH WAS KEAN GIVEN LAST YEAR? 20MIL? AND HE STILL SQUANDERED IT AND LEFT US RELEGATED. Rougly - Petrovic - 6M Goodwillie - 2M Yakubu - 2M Dann - 8M Rochina - 1M Formica - 4M Orr - 1M Think you'll find Venkys have never failed to put cash in. Some oaf keeps spending it on players who don't get a game.
Remeber who left, so did they really put the cash in....!
Whether its true or not, the propaganda at the moment is suggesting that last season's bad signings were made by Vineeth Rao.

I expect that there will be many ups and downs within the current transfer window but signing Danny Murphy is definitely a good start. If (and its a big if) we can keep the existing squad (minus Hoilett and Yakubu of course) and add one or two other decent signings (eg Best and Gosling) then I for one will consider that an excellent transfer window.
AN EXCELLET TRANSFER WINDOW IT SEMS A BIT OF tatt TO ME"

Blackburn Rovers confirm Murphy signing

BLACKBURN Rovers have this morning confirmed the signing of Danny Murphy on a two-year deal.

The former England international midfielder joins from Fulham at the end of his contract at Craven Cottage.

Rovers boss Steve Kean said: “Being able to bring Danny on board is a massive boost for everyone and I couldn’t be more delighted.

“His record is there for all to see. He is a model professional, who has a real hunger to keep on playing football and we are thrilled he has decided to commit his future to us.

"This as a pivotal signing for us.”
