A judge has ruled this mans evidence was unrelaible when he was in court, under oath. I'm therefore 100% convinced he is capable of making such statements when drinking in a bar. The fact that this man is STILL our manager is a matter that brings shame on BRFC, I will support the club and the team forever, I will NEVER support this man, his agent or his paymasters. you lot are really funny in a very strange way....I think it is called selective memory! If you can actually remember properly without your prejudices clouding your memories - but back then there was a significant number of Rovers fans of all ages and years of support who complained for two seasons about the absolutely shocking type of footie that we played when BFS was manager....there was no attack, little or no ambition, just big kick long throw and no future under him and that style of football really plus we sold all our best players.... We (yes even you Smelly but not you I don't think Bazzer) talked about him being replaced by people like Martin O'Neil, Roy Hodgson, Rafa Benitez and many more managers BUT no-one talked about replacing BFS with a no mark - no experienced - fairy tale telling despicable coach like Kean. Would I want BFS to have 'stayed' instead of Kean coming-in knowing what we do now, well yes of course - even the Northwich Victoria manager would have been better than Kean. BFS's wife would have been better.... But hindsight is a wonderful thing and the great joy of seeing BFS being turned out of Ewood was soon to turn to deep sorrow as Kean was announced as his replacement and ever so quickly showed his inexperience and arrogance. If you can actually remember properly without your prejudices clouding your memories - but back then there was a significant number of Rovers fans of all ages and years of support who complained for two seasons about the absolutely shocking type of footie that we played when BFS was manager....there was no attack, little or no ambition, just big kick long throw and no future under him and that style of football really plus we sold all our best players.... We (yes even you Smelly but not you I don't think Bazzer) talked about him being replaced by people like Martin O'Neil, Roy Hodgson, Rafa Benitez and many more managers BUT no-one talked about replacing BFS with a no mark - no experienced - fairy tale telling despicable coach like Kean. Would I want BFS to have 'stayed' instead of Kean coming-in knowing what we do now, well yes of course - even the Northwich Victoria manager would have been better than Kean. BFS's wife would have been better.... But hindsight is a wonderful thing and the great joy of seeing BFS being turned out of Ewood was soon to turn to deep sorrow as Kean was announced as his replacement and ever so quickly showed his inexperience and arrogance. Everyone quickly saw that Venkys had cocked-up big style, and surely would realize their massive mistake and set things straight and sack Kean and bring in a decent and experienced manager at the end of last season....but it wasn't to be and things just escalated farther into farce and loss after loss all ending with our miserable relegation to the championship. And I don't regret Rovers sacking Sam - I just so so so regret that Kean was his replacement. Yes indeed Smelly I (and you) and many many others called for BFS to be replaced......at least I can be honest about it. And I don't regret Rovers sacking Sam - I just so so so regret that Kean was his replacement. In 53 years of supporting the Rovers this is the lowest point of my football loving life....I though we were all of one mind at the moment sharing our fears for the future of our club...so it is a little disappointing that some posters on here still feel that they have to slag other Rovers fans off and try and do some kind of childish point scoring....! It is the clubs very future existence that is at stake now - but thank god things seem to be falling in on Kean every hour now! I am all consumed right now like most Rovers fans are in watching and waiting for news of his demise and exit from our club. No surrender!

Frenchie, you say we sold our best players and yet, we still finished 10th! How good an achievement was that looking from our position now? Do you think we ourselves did not notice the methods Big Sam used? Give us more credit than that. We wanted Rovers to stay up, simple as that. Big Sam wins matches. Had Big Sam stayed there would have been no Kean. I doubt you and I will see 10th spot in our lifetime again. There will be one last flurry from us Big Sam fans - when hopefully the Hammers take our place at the top table. Up Rovers!

My family and friends didnt complain. The first thing we said when Sam was sacked was that we would be relegated. That was before we even knew about the Kean factor and what Venkys had in mind. There were plenty round me complaining each game and chuft when he was sacked and I presume they realise now that you never know what you will get in place.

Who knows how many more times (and even worse) things he's said whilst jollying it up in other bars this season? Also ask yourself, do you see the likes of Ferguson, Wenger, Brendan Rodgers et al behaving in this manner with young fans?

Kean has noone to blame other then himself if this is the reason for his downfall. And let's be honest, even forgetting this video, on football grounds he should have been fired a LONG time ago.

you lot are really funny in a very strange way....I think it is called selective memory! If you can actually remember properly without your prejudices clouding your memories - but back then there was a significant number of Rovers fans of all ages and years of support who complained for two seasons about the absolutely shocking type of footie that we played when BFS was manager....there was no attack, little or no ambition, just big kick long throw and no future under him and that style of football really plus we sold all our best players.... We (yes even you Smelly but not you I don't think Bazzer) talked about him being replaced by people like Martin O'Neil, Roy Hodgson, Rafa Benitez and many more managers BUT no-one talked about replacing BFS with a no mark - no experienced - fairy tale telling despicable coach like Kean. Would I want BFS to have 'stayed' instead of Kean coming-in knowing what we do now, well yes of course - even the Northwich Victoria manager would have been better than Kean. BFS's wife would have been better.... But hindsight is a wonderful thing and the great joy of seeing BFS being turned out of Ewood was soon to turn to deep sorrow as Kean was announced as his replacement and ever so quickly showed his inexperience and arrogance. Everyone quickly saw that Venkys had cocked-up big style, and surely would realize their massive mistake and set things straight and sack Kean and bring in a decent and experienced manager at the end of last season....but it wasn't to be and things just escalated farther into farce and loss after loss all ending with our miserable relegation to the championship.
