Blue Skies on another post you ask for a view on the STs. Please bear in mind it is just my opinion and nothing definitive:

Whether to boycott season ticket renewal or not?

Contrary to received wisdom, I don’t think a widespread boycott will hit Venkys particularly hard in the pocket. It will have an effect – for sure, but 10k STH not renewing at £250 will reduce revenue by £2.5m. This figure will be diluted if some of these supporters eventually end up being walk-ups at say £20-25 per time.
A much reduced attendance at Ewood would be put down by our owners, Agnew and Haw Haw
    Playing in the championship
The harsh economic reality of the recession in Blackburn and UK
Only proper supporters getting behind the team at this difficult time
Make no mistake even though they are thick – those pulling the strings at Ewood know how to get the donkeys of the press on their side.
And a decline of £2.5m is likely to be realised by staff redundancies rather than stopping Venkys trousering the cash.

However, how else can supporters register their anger at both the management of the team and the appalling management of the club. We are being systematically destroyed. There is the virtuous circle and the vicious circle
Virtuous – good owners get a good manager, with good players, better players want to join and good team spirit and good football and great results (see Manchester City as obvious example – but also see Wigan, Norwich, Spurs, Swansea etc and historically Rovers)
Vicious – bad owners, bad manager, poor players, good ones want to leave, rubbish team spirit and dreadful football – leads to poor results (see Rovers, Pompey, Coventry and any Risdale club of any era.

My own view is that the only positive behind boycotting STs is a supporter attempt to smoke Kean out of the long grass. It could work as empty stadiums will be a visual embarrassment to Venkys who may be forced to change their stupid minds (EVENTUALLY). And that has to be the first objective.

The issue then is who would Venkys appoint (and who will they take advice from). My worry is that by getting rid of Kean – we will end up with a journeyman like Megson or Jewell (or even Laws) as any half-decent manager will not have a large enough bargepole. It would only work if we got another Hughes rookie manager or like the bloke at Saints who had done a great apprenticeship at Scuni.

On balance – boycotting to try and get Kean out is the preferred option. So, regrettably, YES TO BOYCOTT.
Totally agree, it's the only weapon we have,

Boycott ST till Kean is removed BUT still wait to see who Venkys bring in, it could be another muppett who filters the clubs money to the Venkys."

Kean in internet storm

STEVE Kean is at the centre of an internet storm after a YouTube video appeared to show him making an expletive-laden rant about former boss Sam Allardyce.

The footage, filmed by fans in a bar during last summer's pre-season tour in Hong Kong, is expected to put an already under fire Kean under further pressure.

Kean travels to India tonight for talks with owners Venky's tomorrow, already under massive pressure - with a petition signed by more than 4000 fans for his dismissal.

The clip also apparently shows Kean talking about playing a leading role in Phil Jones' development and promising fans Rovers would finish in the top 10 and win the Carling Cup.
