  • "A couple of weeks ago Kean spouted off in a telegraph article that we are now on a sound financial footing. He semed to be implying that having sold or given away our better players who were on big wages, the income to expenditure ratio now deems us to be trading in the black. I guess he also meant reducing the wage bill by chopping Allardyce, Williams, Goodman etc and replacing them with cheaper options, namely himself replacing Allardyce.

Gien that the cost cutting has inevitably brought on relegation and a drop in income of at least £50 million per year can anyone get him to explain the sense in all this?

Of course as per the You Tube clip Steve Kean Bull**it man he sees very little, promises top 10 finishes and states that we definitely wont be relegated. Given how badly wrong all these statements have gone, surely, it has to be time to sack him. Am I just suffering from wishful thinking?"

BLACKBURN Rovers’ relegation battle is getting a bit hairy – with fans growing a ‘Givet beard for survival’.

In honour of bearded favourite Gael Givet, Rovers fans have started a Twitter campaign for fans to copy his facial hair to inspire a great escape.

It will certainly be a close shave but Rovers are hoping they don’t finish a whisker away from safety.

To join the campaign, which has been backed by Givet himself, go to #GivetBeardForSurvival on Twitter.

Organisers of the campaign are also urging Givet beard growers to make a donation to East Lancashire Hospice
