I always felt a little sorry for Andrews. He got unjustified stick from Rover's fans, a bit like MGP seems to get for some reason. He is always our most likely source of a goal, even if it is mostly from set pieces - the stats show it. Andrews may just come back to bite us on the bum today.

Of course, we haven't been able to see if most of SK's signings are better or worse than either of them because he doesn't even pick them. Oh, that answers that question then.

We can call Mr Kean an idiot and all that, but if he were a seasoned Manager, having the restrictions of not being able to choose your best players is an impossible task. There isn't a manager in the prem that would work welll in those conditions. He is an out and out politician, stumbling along with near impossible parameters, taking the flack and talking like tomorrow will be rosey. That might not be as strange as we think. Every action and decision taken by Venkys and Kean has taken us more towards relegation and not towards staying in this league. They have eroded away any experience within the team, used contractual terms to block those players who might have helped the cause. By far the best journalism on Rovers in recent months has been by long term Rovers fan (he did the Rovers Mag in the 90's) Jim Wilky alias "Blue Eyed Boy" in the Accrington Observer. The LT should do everything they can to at least get him to do a weekly column!

Even without 'encouragement' not to buy, I would be mightily surprised if more than 5 or 6 thou. commit.
It is obvious (or should be) to all that there is something radically wrong at BRFC, no matter how you stack it.
Only those with some unswerving belief that we will emerge from this and feel some sort of hard and fast allegance (to what?) will carry on. This though surely with a heavy heart.
I think that we may still have a season to run with Venkys yet, that means Kean also.
Could he hack it in Champs? I really have no idea.
Could we carry on 'blooding' our remaining youth? Yes why not.
Is there money to be made from this? Certainly.
