Orr signs for Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the signing of Bradley Orr from QPR.

The former Bristol City right back arrives at Ewood Park having been on the periphery of things at Loftus Road this season.

The 29-year-old played a key role in helping the Hoops to Premier League promotion but has struggled to make an impact this time round.

Orr joins Marcus Olsson as deadline day signings at Blackburn Rovers, with Anthony Modeste signed from Bordeaux on loan last week.

A Pathetic signing, where is the money and where are these 4 or 5 premier league quality players, you are An idiot.
Marcus Olsson-Unknown Freebie
Bradley Orr-Championship Player at best and cant even get in the QPR Team.
No money spent again,Kean and Venkys and JA are a joke and so is the little man who likes writing on paper for a living who is obviously on a venkys salary.

I am so excited by this transfer window

Modeste never played in England

Olsson out of contract from a relegated Swedish side and not good enough when we trialled him

Orr - not good enough for QPR

Guess these are the premiership quality that Kean promised in his early business pledge

Option 1 was fight for premiership. Option 2 was sell club. Option 3 was prepare for championship.

Which option have Venkys gone for?

No surprise that the messageboard on the club website is down, must be all the excitement at the quality signings we have made

This is becoming more pathetic by the day. Venky have taken this proud club to an all time low in record time. How did these clowns ever meet the criteria for taking over a Premiership club? We are now shopping at Poundland for new players. The Rao Family don't know the meaning of the word 'truth' and have blatantly misled supporters.

One good thing to come from all of this is the new Venky's feel good compliation album hitting the stores. Featuring such classics as "Baby I wanna leave you" by chris samba, "Money" by the Venky experience and the haunting eastern acoustic cover of "don't worry be happy" by Kean & The Heartbreakers.

Could we have the Blackburn End Choir singing that Fleetwood Mac classic, 'Little Lies' to Venky's and Steve Kean?

The club are obviously skint, dissapointed with the quality of the signings, but i guess to sign anyone is a bonus at the moment!

Why havent Rovers sold Samba? he wants to leave?, why can't we get rid? why persist in keeping an unhappy player?

I must admit I am not a Steve Kean fan and do think he will send us down but fair play for saying no to Samba I just hope Samba is professional enough to fight for the cause now !

That would be swell and go well with our fleetwood mac cover album:
Dreams - Steve Kean
Go Your Own Way - Chris Samba
Oh Well - The Fans

4 signings with premier league experience signed in early part of the window to hit the ground running do said Kean. Same old Kean and venkys but who expected anything else. If the admiral has gone to spurs what the hell is going on? We need experience in the back 4 and if Harry thinks he can do a job at spurs I am sure he can do a job at rovers. Yet again get rid of the senior players and bring in yes boys. The only reason they didn't cash in on samba is that the fans would have rioted. Same old Kean and venkys, always lying.

Keith Andrews on ssn about rovers "the club I joined then and the club it is now are like chalk and cheese" says it all. Venkys have destroyed our club and don't we f*cking know it

Maybe Kean could also do a cover of the Bucks Fizz hit; 'The Land Of Make Believe'.

This one might not be as bad as it appears. I said yesterday a friend of mine who is a physio at BRFC told me in the summer that Nelsen was finished. Just see how many appearances he makes at Spuds and then think about what we have saved in wages when he wouldn't have played anyway

It would have been nice if the signings made could have generated a bit of excitement about the place but other than QPR no other club has done fantastic business. Bolton have signed Sordell from Watford - unproven at this level
Wolves have signed Bassong on loan who I can't remember how long ago his last premier league appearance was and Wigan didn't sign anybody worth mentioning.
We have retainined the services of the players we thought we could lose and trimmed the wage bill by a figure not so far away from £100k per week.

The signing of Orr potentially allows Lowe to be played in his preferred position perhaps replacing Petrovic (who to be fair is improving all the time). We don't know a lot abput Marcus Olsson but he has been capped by Sweden who are no mugs and we should give Modeste a chance before we slate him.

As for relegation it's 3 from 4, my only concern would be if Wolves sack McCarthy and find a quality replacement. If they don't I think it will be us and Bolton fighting it out for 17th.

Keane the gob yes man - back from India before Christmas spouting off about how good the meeting with the owners had been, how named transfer targets had been discussed, how he was going to get into the market early and bring in players that would 'hit the ground running'. Another pack of lies and spin. Get real Kean, become a man, stop bowing to them, your no more than another Venkys subsidiray company manager dotted around the world. Any reputable football manager would be more astute. Your not fit to manage this club and the Venkys are not fit to run it.

Bradley Orr is a good player and i hope he does well for us but lets all be realistic about the situation. No so called "top" player is going to want to join us whilst the club is in this situation. What are the motives of Venky's? Even Andrews clearly stated on sky sports how much the club has changed!! No-way back for Venkys so sell to the first bidder please!!
