A man accused of murdering a four-year-old Keighley boy is due to appear in court next week.

Anwar Rosser, 32, is scheduled for a plea hearing at Bradford Crown Court on Wednesday. His trial has provisionally been set for July.

Rosser, of Harewood Road in Keighley, is accused of murdering Riley Turner on January 20.

Police and paramedics battled to save Riley when they were called to his Harewood Road home, but he was pronounced dead at Airedale Hospital.

An inquest into Riley’s death was opened and adjourned by assistant dep-uty coroner, Tim Ratcliffe, in February.
