The twin sister of a missing woman last seen in West Watford has said her family is growing increasingly concerned for her safety.
Penny Measey, 32, was last spotted at Watford General Hospital around midnight of March 23 and 24 after going missing almost two week ago.
Her sister, Katy Measey, said this was not the first time the mother-of-three had gone missing and that based on her previous disappearances, she feared Penny would be living on the streets.
She said: "I am worried as she is vulnerable. I don’t think she is capable of looking after herself and we are worried about where she is sleeping and what she is eating."
Miss Measey said when her sister had disappeared previously she had walked from Oxfordshire towards London where she had been found in the past.
When she appeared at Watford General Hospital she was complaining about her feet. However she was only at the hospital under an hour before leaving. That was her last known sighting.
Penny was last seen at Watford General Hospital on the evening of April 23.
Thames Valley Police said there was still a strong possibility Penny was still in the south west Hertfordshire area.
Miss Measey said Penny had been staying with her uncle in Oakley, near Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire, when she went missing two weeks ago.
She said Penny’s eldest daughter was due to turn 12 on Friday and her family are hoping she would be found before then.
Penny is described as white, of slim build with long mousey blonde hair. She is 5ft 6ins tall.
Miss Measey added that at the time of her disappearance she was thought to have been wearing a khaki jacket.
PC Ben Dyke, leading the search said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Penny’s welfare as she has no access to money. We would urge anyone who knows of her whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency."
Anyone with any information about Penny’s whereabouts is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on the 24 hour non-emergency number 101.
