A DRIVER lost control of her car in Leigh, damaging a barbers shop and phonebox.
Emergency services were called to the accident in Elmsleigh Drive, in Leigh near to the junction of London Road, at about 1pm.
They found that a female driver had lost control of her jeep and clipped the Men Only barbers shop in the road, smashing the store's front window, and she also careered into a BT phone box, which smashed.
She escaped with light injuries and is currently being treated by paramedics on the scene.
Police are unsure how the accident happened, and have asked for witnesses to call PC Paul Chambers on 101.
