Blackburn Rovers midfielder Etuhu to have scan

BLACKBURN Rovers midfielder Dickson Etuhu is set to have a scan after suffering a recurrence of his knee injury.

Etuhu has been closing in on a comeback after appearing in Monday’s reserve team game against Fulham but it is feared he could face another month on the sidelines after a setback.

Rovers are already without fellow central midfielder Lee Williamson for around six weeks with an ankle problem, while David Dunn (calf) remains absent for tomorrow’s home game against Leeds.

Forward Leon Best is not yet ready to feature for the first team after playing for the reserves, but could be in contention next weekend.

Adam Henley could be available again after injury tomorrow.

Im not going to say that this is a big loss because I dont feel as though Etuhu had contributed a lot to the team. Same with Murphy.

Totally agree with that. Both useless signings by Kean and a waste of money. We will recover from the damage done during Kean's time here but it won't happen over night, unfortunately.

I wouldnt play Murphy, I think he's too slow and gives the ball away too often. apart from that Irish knowledge your team is spot on!!!

With all due respect to Dixon, no loss whatsoever as he is simply not good enough, or just cannot be bothered.
I would go as far as to say I find it hard to recall a more ineffective midfielder than him out there for us.
However, the drain on the wage bill is yet another stark example of the mess we have been put in by our current owners.
