Rovers set for Millwall quarter-final
6:09pm Sunday 17th February 2013 in News
BLACKBURN Rovers will travel to face Championship rivals Millwall in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Rovers grabbed the headlines on Saturday when they dumped Arsenal out of the competition and they avoided the big guns in today's draw.
They will travel to the Den over the weekend on March 9 and 10.

In answer to your early question - did I go to AFC ?
No mate, don't do the gooners although wish I had !
Great win for the Appleton fellows, and a great win for yourself, sir. A fine, fine day.
Yes, Milwall is not a bad draw would have taken that before.
What a fantastic chance for the beleagured b'stards of Blackburn to march onto Wembley.

Sure does come "thick & fast" over the next month....no wonder Appleton is hoping for more players to replace some of the dead-wood in the squad he inherited....still there is lots of positives happening right now and hope this well bring us the results in the league over the next 3/4 weeks....a BIG ask that needs a BIG response from the supporters....COYB..

great drinking at market porter (borough market) and the george inn (off borough high st).....marvellous!
first game there for me was that game where we needed to win to get in play-offs - they had just won the league to get promoted as champions to 1st division.....they were still drunk, both fans AND PLAYERS! won 4-1 scorers chris price(?), simon garner x2, simon barker (who then left for qpr) we had around 500-600 there - millwall fans ran on pitch at end and towards us but stopped at edge of pitch.
went to another at old den and a pal of mine took us into the supporters club bar - could not have been more friendly
then there was a cup match in the early 00s at new den - we won 1/0 andy cole(?) - remember walking back to south bermondsey station and the local monkeys were wrecking a traffic warden's van that the bloke had clamped loads of their cars during the game.
woody only had a tough time - cos he sung to them.

Back in the seventies if we took three car loads then that was considered a good travelling support to Millwall games. You hardly ever saw an 'idenifiable' Rovers fan everyone adopted a southern 'mockney' accent but Northerners still stood out like a beacon and it wasn't long into the game before the Den Baling-hook crew found you. Tough times. I remember one Rovers fan - Clive Wallwork? - getting his face slashed down there in the eighties also..and its not too much better at the New Den now to be honest. Horrible place to build a new football stadium.

Easy game for the Rovers so should progress.
Maybe we should make it a double-header and play for the 3 points as well....nobody loves us and we don't care! Millwall hard? I have seen harder jelly babies.
Now will be at this game, tickets available, of course ?
Should be plugging the club for free transport down if the allocation is big numbers ?
Hull Tuesday, pal ;-)
Really looking forward to the games at the moment.
Phew, glad it's not as stated above that of the 70/80's. Bleeding hard work !
Nobody likes us chuff the lot of them the long the short and the tall there will be a commotion when we get promoton na na na na na - ha ha !
Arte et labore
I recall the first couple of verses to the song you named Mr W:
F*** them All, F*** them All
The Leeds and the Spurs and Millwall....

lf the rovers apply themselves the same way they did against arsenal when we face millwall there wont be a problem ld expect appleton to ensure the players dont get carried away with any premature thoughts of wembley fever before the job is done,
