you need a manager you can respect and know he has experience, knowhow etc. Some players will probably ask who is Appleton, what has he won, what experience has he got. If you have a manager in workplace you think does not warrant the position what is your attitude and morale going to be. Its not Appletons fault, Venkys never learn and lisetn to fans and players for an experienced manager.

I don't know, I thought Murphys performance yesterday was improved on what it was like when he first came here. He got caught in posession a couple of times but his distribution was slightly better. Jason Lowe on the other hand was shocking, was he on the pitch?
Needless to say we are not doing it in midfield yet so its an area of concern, but the defending was highlighted again, how can wolves best header of the ball have noone marking him from a set piece. Schoolboy stuff. Thats it with Rovers, they need more than one goal because they always concede due to players switching off. I hope appleton can get them working harder.

Totally agree with your comments the sooner Murphy and one or two others are given the heave ho the better - and as for the young lad signed from Chelsea on loan - way out of his depth but then again this fits in with some other players within the team!!!! As for our latest Managerial appointments - a bloody joke and just jobs for Shaw/Agnew mates now - yes the circus continues!!!!

Obviously not watching the game through rose tinted glasses, more likely beer bottle bottoms.

OK not the greatest of performances, we allowed Wolves to drag us down to their level in the second half, but another hard earned point away from home is not to be sniffed at.

Playing poorly yet still picking up points, used to be a good thing that.

So well done GB and his team, hopefully Appleton will be able to build on this over the next few games, if not I am quite sure you and the rest of the doomsayers will be ecstatic to be proven right once again.

As for Murphy I was one of his greatest critics in the first half of the season but I thought he played quite well again last night, as he has recently, he made a couple of errors down to his lack of pace but was also in the right place at the right time again to clear a corner off the line.

You are right about the midfield though, no-one with any idea how to tackle, no-one with any "bite", something we desperately need especially in this league.

I attend games but I think that between yourselves you are causing more harm that you claim Murphy caused by his neglect to welcome the new manager. Get some perspective. The bloke was only appointed late that afternoon. Players would already be preparing for the game. They wont have had any information about anything and Murphy and his mates had just played out a difficult game in difficult circumstances for a coach they obviously are grateful to. These players arent trained in diplomacy, they arent skilled at thinking on the spur of the moment. Fans like you just put words into their mouths and read too much into things and by doing that you stoke up ill feeling. leave the guy alone for heavens sake.

The bloke was only appointed late that afternoon. Players would already be preparing for the game. We have absolutely no chance of being promoted this season or any in the forseeable future regardless of who is manager. That doesn't mean everbody should jump ship of course.

Bentley was good for Rovers as Rovers was good for Bentley, I just hope he's got the hunger still and Appleton can get the best out of him. We need some creativity as well as a couple of proper centre halves because I'm not convinced with Dann whatsoever. We are crying out for a Ryan Nelson like player - experience, bravery and organiser. We need a spine to the team and quick.

I think he is a very talented, humble young man who is just not getting the
service he desperately needs to score the goals for us that we know he is more than capable of scoring, watching the Wolves game Kaz and Ruben were far to greedy trying too hard to impress the sky cameras instead of passing the ball. MGP seems to be the only player who trys to feed the ball to Jordan, we need to work as a team and not be greey individuals.

When Bentley last played at Ewood part of his frustration was he didn't really want to be a right winger, he wanted to play centre-mid where he could be more involved and spray the ball around (think tugay-style). He tried it a few times and didn't do such a bad job, although he was still only young in those days. No reason why he couldn't do that job for us now if he has the heart to prove he's still got something and the strength to compete when it gets physical.

Possibly but I think we need a box to box midfielder with energy a la jermaine jones - someone with energy, ability, drive, commitment IMO.
