Berg is trying to change things and as yet not working. Berg has confirmed he makes all the footballing decisions. I get why some on here defend fans' right to vent their spleens during the games and direct it at Venkys and Singh but I dont get it when they direct it at the players and manager. There are some real idiots at Ewood as there are at all grounds but I think this dire, unbelievable situations has sucked a few more idiots out of the earth, those who enjoy shouting abuse more than shouting support. A game spent in the Darwen end is evidence of it. I feel sorry for Rhodes. This is not what he expected Im sure

Don't feel sorry for him, he must have been informed by his agent about the on going turmoil at the club but still chose to ignore that and sign.......because he is greedy and saw nothing but the pound signs. But don't worry, he'll be off in January now he's realised that you lot aren't the "BIG" club he thought he'd signed for.

I was merely pointing out that Rhodes motivation for coming to Blackburn was clearly financial, it has to have been because what up and coming young player would want to come to a club subject to so many uncertainties with owners who don't know the first thing about football? I don't think anyone can disagree and I don't think that's an unfair comment.
I can honestly see him wanting to leave in January the way things are going and maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing for you lot, cash in on him while his stock is still quite high.

Ezequiel Fryers? Maybe getting a youngster at centre-back is too risky, but look at Swansea with Steven Caulker. No idea if he is available to loan in.

Shaun Derry. Yes I know he isn't the most exciting of people to sign, but his effort and contribution would be useful to us right now. He would also make a good leader for the players. I wouldn't count him as deadwood either.

We were only discussing not long ago about the Asian community in Blackburn not attending matches, but with this kind of despicable behaviour - albeit by a minority of idiots - why would they want to? I have witnessed though over the years that there has been a significant rise in Asians attending Rovers matches and stood side by side with everyone and there has never been in my experience any animosity shown at the grounds that I can remember and long may it continue.

I hope those responsible though, hung their heads in shame when they woke up from their drunken stupor the next day. You are not worthy of being called Rovers fans. Shame on you.

Were these the same 'fans' shouting abuse at the players? I get why some on here defend fans' right to vent their spleens during the games and direct it at Venkys and Singh but I dont get it when they direct it at the players and manager. There are some real idiots at Ewood as there are at all grounds but I think this dire, unbelievable situations has sucked a few more idiots out of the earth, those who enjoy shouting abuse more than shouting support. A game spent in the Darwen end is evidence of it. I feel sorry for Rhodes. This is not what he expected Im sure

I was merely pointing out that Rhodes motivation for coming to Blackburn was clearly financial, it has to have been because what up and coming young player would want to come to a club subject to so many uncertainties with owners who don't know the first thing about football? I don't think anyone can disagree and I don't think that's an unfair comment.
I can honestly see him wanting to leave in January the way things are going and maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing for you lot, cash in on him while his stock is still quite high.

Unfotunately doh head, when Rhodes was interviewed the other day he actually said he was a Rovers fan. Coming from Oldham and living the bulk of his life in scotland he confessed to being a Celtic and a Rovers fan.

The team should have a lot more points on the table since Berg took over as manager. What do you expect Shebby Singh to do? Perhaps put himself up to play in team. Berg is trying to change things and as yet not working. Berg has confirmed he makes all the footballing decisions. Berg needs the team to put more effort and work harder and not just turn up on the matchday.

A past to be proud of my mate, its what gets us thro the bad times. Dingles can't even have that crumb of comfort, unless they're on the pension then they might just remember good times!
On that 2000 promotion, I remember listening on radio Lancashire to their gob-5hites singing "bring on the b@stards" at Gillingham. And bring em on we did on the 17th Dec, lead by fearless Souness staring the inbreds down as he lead his team into the tu.rd. The rest is history but I remember at either half or full time as the bedraggled scruffs made trudged off the pitch, the wife beating padiham p1sstank made a gesture of self satisfying to the Rovers fans and before he could make it to the safety of that cheap plastic tunnel extension, a half eaten meat and potatoe pie hit him full in the boat. April fools day at Ewood was good , the 5-0 demolition & us back on our way up but the 2-0 on't tuff was better for me.
Every time they get a chance to right what they see as the wrongs of us stopping them doing the double in 1960 (the hatred started then apparently)by beating in the cup semi, they fu.ck it up in monumental fashion. Called having no balls and still being jinxed by the 34 year hoodo we have over them.
The song that belted out from the blue and white faithful on 2nd Dec in that wooden seated, dark miserable, 5hithole of an away end ,said it all.....

Great memories... looking back at that team and our manager we oozed quality and class that night.

Kevin Ball's attack on Dunny nearly started a 22 man brawl and the atmosphere was as poison as I'd ever seen at a football match.
Ball was a f*cking nutter and I remember thinking if only Souness was 10 years younger he'd have wiped Ball of his boot like a piece of sh1t.
I thought that 3rd world cardboard stand we were in was gonna collapse when Bent scored!! That was the best of the lot, 2-0 in your dingle dome!! 17 years of dingle desperation and we disposed of em like an old carrier bag...... brilliant night.
