Shows someone is thinking ahead, not backwards.

At first look this seems like a decent sponsorship from a financial advisory type company with the bonus of the guy being born in Blackburn. They also are reputed to have sponsor links with West Brom, Wolves and Sheff United plus Lancashire and Hampshire County Cricket Clubs plus numerous top Rugby League clubs.

I guess the reason they will only have the their name on the 'front' of the shirt for two games is that the front is the 'premium cost' space for any sponsor and Probiz may not be able to afford that sum. But they will be on the back of the shirt for the rest of the season it seems. That's the Riverside and part of the shirt sponsored now...were getting there albeit very slowly..

I'm a lifelong Rovers fan and season ticket holder, even during these bad days, but some of these comments are shameful. I lived in London for the last 20yrs and these "Indian" comments make us Northerners look as dumb and racist as everyone paints us out to be!
I don't care where Venkys are from, I just think they're doing a bad job and need to sort it or go away. And best of luck to this chap helping to find us a sponsor, good to see a local boy done well.

Whilst I agree that any revenue is welcome revenue I do find this particular arrangement to be slightly peculiar. Having a sponsor's name emblazoned across the front of the shirt for two games, then 'shoe-horned' somewhere onto the back, only serves to draw attention to the circus that the club has become.

Are they hoping to do this with other companies? If so, our shirt will no longer be a symbol of the club, just another advertisement hoarding. Like an old, well-travelled suitcase, it'll be adorned with 'stickers' of little known 'places' that it had once spent a fortnight in. I know lots of clubs in other countries have several sponsors on their shirts but they have them in place at the same time. They don't start collecting them like Boy Scouts earning their badges.

Of course this may not be the case and Venky's haven't got anybody else lined up to pay Premier League prices for Championship advertising. It'll explain why Shebby Singh failed to mention PROBIZ when questioned about shirt sponsorship a few days ago - it would have led to even more questions that he couldn't answer.

India is a rich country with 400 mllion poor people with a population of 1.2 billion, because of inequality which could sorted by Indian authorities if it took more seriously.This is biggest challenge India faces is to tackle poverty and inequality by 2025 .
