Started mediocre and ended the half poorly. Midfield still problematic. For all Lowe's athleticism, he cannot make a forward pass and we constantly lost the initiative this way.

Starting the game absolutely clueless points to lack of preparation, unaware of other teams strengths and weaknesses, same goes with rovers attack play, not quick enough, not aware of the most efficient method of atrack, players like Rhodes are begging for early passes or crosses into the box, otherwise it is next to not playing him at all.

yes good points merlin..this is not Bergs team and he cant make a sows purse out of a pigs ear. To be fair we were looking like we could get back in it in the second half but two quick breaks and two good goals ended any hopes. Cardiff deserved the win but maybe not the 4-1. Rovers have sunk to new depths after to-nights performance. Any thoughts of reaching the play offs is out of the question. The best we can hope for is that Rovers remain the Championship. A big question mark now hangs over Berg. A new manager in the new year could well be on the cards.

The first one with his back against the wall should be HENDRY! £8000 a week as a defensive coach. It's a disgrace. Dann, Hanley and Olsson are and have been all season, awful. The only crumb of consolation is that Burnley weren't good enough to beat this disorganised, leaderless shower. Honestly, you must be kicking yourselves!!!!!

Defensive drab again. Etuhu had a few moments but average at best. we looked better after CKR came on but too many wasted chances, Formica should have come off sooner. Too greedy for his own good at least CK made a few plays for a change. King had another good game but Rhodes was again left frustrated.

Wasn't expecting a win against Cardiff who are just on fire, but shocking first half meant we were always going to be playing catchup. Berg unfortunately needs to have found his team by now, King, Rhodes and CK up front just seems to work, but Formica to me just is just frustrating and embarrassing with his diving and selfish attitude.

All in all a very telling story tonight, and I think Berg may not be too surprised if he ends up flying to Pune in the near future.
