Henning Berg not concerned by slow start ahead of Bolton test (From Lancashire Telegraph)

Just keep improving slowly as long as you get it right in the long run,

For what it's worth two up front at home is a crowd pleaser,

On a psychological level the Burnley game is a nine pointer, because that is how important it is for us in shaping our season. It's unthinkable to even contemplate losing to them. I will be a very relieved man if we can get this game over with keeping our unbeaten record intact.

Would it not be better for Hendry to concentrate in doing his job as defensive coach rather than being on Talksport radio telling us all how much time his pal Henning will need , Hendry in a few short months has now crawled up his original pal (Steve Kean then he went onto Eric Black now Hendry is on the radio crawling up Henning Berg.
I think the agreement was that Berg got the managers job was because he told Singh he did not need any time he could get them winning right away,and promotion first up .

Hendry , some advice , stay away from the media ,let the manager do that, and concentrate on the job your getting paid for, because so far since Steve Kean hired you ,your record has been abysmal.

Playing football will always be a game of winning and losing... Too many people are quick to come on here after a loss (under Berg I'm refering to now) and start slating the long term future due to that loss! Spend over 100mil on a side like Man $hitty and you'll still lose to teams that have spent as much as we have, albeit less often, but this is the game and Rovers are no exception to this like people must think!

Reality is people... We are playing well! Enjoy it! Win, lose or draw with Burnley on Sunday, records are broken! The filth that is Burnley have beat Man U$hited...

All I hope is that the record carries on so we can keep the banter up with the full upper hand on our taunts, if not, still 34 years, which not one dingle bell can argue!!

A win is a must tonight and even then it will not take us back into the play off zone - the gap is widening!! Bergh as inherited Kean's awful legacy which was allowed to be put into place by the lack of control from Messrs Agnew Singh Venkeys having spent foolishly on over rated players and dishing out large sums in wages. Bergh has either decided to keep Keans cronies or has been told he cant replace them but which ever the case he needs to be firm and make a start by getting shut of Black Hendry & co and bring in his own backroom staff thus ensuring his methods/disciplines are put into place - unless he does this there will always be doubt in the supporters minds about how the club is run and what freedom the new incumbent has in his day to day role.
We were told that many big names with loads of experience were in for the Rovers vacancy but in the end Messrs Shaw Agnew Singh Venkeys appointed Bergh with little Management Experience - he cost us nothing so some investment in good backroom people would'nt go amiss.

Eric Black has not done anything wrong and I believe he is highly respected by the players and quite a lot of the Rovers fans.

Also - Berg doesn't have his own staff to bring-in so why get rid of someone who is key to the club just to satisfy a few moaners....as for Hendry, well that is also down to Berg now. I don't think HB would keep someone who was not contributing so we will have to wait and see on that one....maybe Berg will be recruiting some staff in the close season when the dust has settled on everything.

We need to give the trotters a good pounding tonight to settle the nerves for the visit to the dingledome. Bolton have a very good side on paper, I just hope that goodman hasn't got them playing any better yet as I'm sure, given time, he will do.
I can't help thinking it was a poor move by him, to leave palace for the breezeblock. Look at palace go.

Good point ,concentrate on the bigger picture but why is Hendry courting the media ? soccer a.m. / talksport /Sky sports ,etc. and always talking up people at Rovers that would give him a job,or keep him in a job, anyway Hendry`s not even Berg`s assistant manager, he`s about 3/4th assistant to the assistant so why does he not concentrate in what Kean employed him for sorting out the defence , instead of media interviews , I suppose again it`s like going back to the 90`s when he used to push the other Rovers players out of the way ,so Hendry could get on the camera,Hendry should decline requests for interviews , we only want to hear the comments of Henning Berg he`s the man we want to listen to, not the 3/4th assistant ,his comments are inconsequential..

Cannot work out if you are a troll, an Indian "fan" of Blackburn, a Venkys stooge pretending to be a Venky or actually a Venky.

French rover / Andyproc - Firstly you cant run a business on sentiment - being respected means nothing if results are NOT being achieved and under Black and Hendry we have achieved nothing other than demotion/mid table championship - secondly Agnew Singh Venkeys and to a lesser degree Shaw have all contributed to the downfall of the Rovers both on and off the field and the sooner new Owners are found along with a board of directors with backbone and integrity the better - may take some time but hopefully sooner or later this will happen - when the Venkeys have got what they need out of the club they'll be off to pastures new with their ideas of grandeur elsewhere !!!!
