The results are inconsequential to this lot...that was proven by their choice of manager. All these vulchers are bothered about is picking as much meat off the bones before leaving an empty carcass behind in 3 years time. Where are the pro Kean / pro Venky's / pro Kentaro / pro Berg / pro Hendry monkeys now?
4:40pm
Brilliant from Rochina. Beat two and smashed a shot against the angle. So unlucky
4:36pm
@CryerRovers not going to lie I would take the draw ;)

— @snakey30 03 November 2012
@CryerRovers palace must be decent! Maybe rovers poor ness is down to players not managers!
— @TommyHewett 03 November 2012
4:33pm
Simon Vukcevic on for Markus Olsson. The penalty was awarded after Henley penalised for tripping Bolasie, but Robbo gives Rovers a little hope
4:30pm
Absolutely brilliant from Robinson as Murray misses second penalty. Murray's initial kick saved and Robbo gets up to save his rebound effort.
4:28pm
@CryerRovers you just can't polish one can you.
— @hargreg67 03 November 2012
@CryerRovers never rated Hanley. #clumsy

— @TommyHewett 03 November 2012
4:24pm
GOAL Palace 2-0. Hanley pulls Murray down in the box and the Palace striker picks himself up to put hosts 2-0 up from spot
4:22pm
@CryerRovers id have preferred to see vukcevic on instead. player who came to us with a reputation n aint been given enuf oppurtunity
— @Andrew_J_Archer 03 November 2012

4:17pm
Formica on for Pedersen
4:15pm
Morten so close to a leveller. His shot saved by Speroni
4:14pm
Brilliant defending from Hanley stopped a certain goal. Zaha walked past Rovers defence his shot parried by Robbo and Hanley just gets there before Murray to clear,
4:13pm
Rochina on for Kazim-Richards
4:11pm
Bolasie fires over from the edge of the area after run and cross from Zaha. Rovers no better yet

4:02pm

J.C - Rishton says
Welcome to the mad-house Henning - now you've seen first hand how poor this squad actually is after 4 transfer windows under JA/SK - it needs completely overhauling.
Promotion this season ? - A tough ask but not impossible if the loons from Pune back you in January with money AND everyone lets you bring in the players that YOU want and let you ship out the dross that Kean and Anderson bought in.

4:00pm
Holloway has just been presented to a very happy Palace crowd
3:59pm
3:53pm
Murray;s injury time header has given Palace half time lead. Rovers have been poor
3:46pm
GOAL Palace 1-0
3:44pm
@CryerRovers because he's a very average footballer and I would imagine he hasent impressed berg in training
— @schofben 03 November 2012
3:43pm
Bolasie's diving header beats Robinson but hits post and goes wide. Let off again
3:38pm
I just feel so sorry for Rhodes. The service this season has been so poor, and yet he has still scored goals. You can't help but wonder what damage he could do if he had support.
3:35pm
@CryerRovers He looks set for a grt future. Played vry well agnst L'Pool and ManUtd last season! Hope he has a grt future with Rovers itslf.
— @ParthyModi 03 November 2012
3:34pm
Owen Garvan volleys over bar for Palace after great work from Zaha. Bolasie then sees a shot well saved by Robinson. The Rovers keeper has been busy so far.
3:31pm
Adam Henley has started really well for Rovers. Playing against the dangerous Zaha but coping very well
3:29pm
For those asking Gomes is injured and away following looks about 500
3:29pm
@OneRovers @BRFC_Fans @CryerRovers what's away following like lads?
— @Antrobbo77 03 November 2012
3:28pm
Palace almost took the lead. Bolasie cross from the right flashes across goal but Murray and Zaha just miss getting a touch. Wingers causing Rovers loads of problems here
3:27pm
Etuhu heads Pedersen corner against bar. GReat header, very unlucky
3:25pm
Paul Robinson comes to Rovers' rescue as he tips Damien Delaney's header wide, from Bolasie's corner. Palace the better side
3:23pm
@CryerRovers come on Rovers!! Following you from Hong Kong Andy!! 3-0 to the lads I reckon!!
— @Gazrovers 03 November 2012
3:22pm
Palace almost break deadlock. Bolasie beats his man and then slips Murray in down the right channel. His pull back is hacked clear by Scott Dann
3:15pm
Not a lot happening in the first 15 minutes. Neither goalkeeper tested. Palace look dangerous and quick on the break though.
3:08pm
@CryerRovers result not as important today apart from changes the i do not think berg influence will av an effect till next match

3:04pm
Yannick Bolasie shoots just wide for Palace.
3:03pm
Underway here at Selhurst. Looks like Rovers lining up with a 4-4-2, with Kazim-Richards alongside Jordan Rhodes.
2:59pm
RT @CryerRovers: I would imagine the directors box will be an interesting place at Selhurst today. Holloway, Shaw, Shebby.......
— @ChrisStaffa 03 November 2012
2:58pm
Teams coming out here at Palace. Murphy has captain's armband back after returning to the side. Adam Henley make his first appearance of the season.
2:48pm
@CryerRovers , good that a class right back like Berg has already sussed That Orr's average at best.
— @PaulQ157 03 November 2012
RT @RoversNumber9: @CryerRovers Henning knows a crap RB when he sees one, he'll be gone in Jan
— @Bigdog3939 03 November 2012
@CryerRovers So Palace get Holloway and we get Berg. Shambles. Either the clubstructure put him off or idiots are still in charge.
— @IWakers 03 November 2012
2:38pm
RT @BenWhittingham3: @CryerRovers henning berg is obv a lot better manager than kean n black. In 2 days he has seen wat we all know. Bradley orr is shite

Time for murphy to grow some and show us why he's here. Any more mediocre performances from him and Berg will replace him in Jan. I want to see a bit more of Vukcevic as he has looked good when in the side.
Good luck Rovers and good luck Henning.

Good luck H BERG and BRFC
Today's match is tough....!!!!
C Palace are a young energetic team and they have some V good up and coming players.
Something, i'd like to see at BRFC as we have too many older statesmen.
Yes we do need the older experienced players, but the're not able to last the 90 minutes we require and football is fast paced especially in Premiership.
We may already have the players at the club but the're untried and untested as yet. Lets hope they get a chance and establish themselves especially the portagese contingent.
I think we will need to concentrate on building up our younger players and creating a bigger and better football academy in order to just stay within sight of other major football teams.
Hence, I am in favor of bringing in young potentials from around the world but of course we have to nurture our own young players in England also.
I actually envy Palace as they have many exciting players destined for the top.
I know it will be tough against Palace and obviously would like 3 points but will have to settle for 1 point at the least.
I'm quite happy with the team selected to play at Palace and lets hope we get a result today.......!!!
I wish we could buy some of their exciting players like Zaha, etc..
but i know they will go to top clubs in premiership...!!!
2:35pm
Holloway wont be taking charge of team for Palace but expected to be unveiled to the crowd.
2:24pm
TEENAGER Adam Henley makes his first appearance of the season as new boss Henning Berg makes four changes for this afternoon's trip to Crystal Palace.
Henley replaces Bradley Orr at right back, with Danny Murphy in for the injured Jason Lowe, Markus Olsson on the left wing and Martin Olsson at left back.
The clash has been given extra spice by Palace's appointment of Ian Holloway as their new manager this morning.
ROVERS: Robinson, Henley, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Danny Murphy, Dickson Etuhu, Markus Olsson, Jordan Rhodes, Colin Kazim-Richards
SUBS: Kean, Orr, Formica, Rochina, Ribeiro, Vukcevic, Rosado
PALACE: Speroni, Ward, Parr, Bolasie, Dikgacol, Garvan, Jedinak, Zaha, Murray, Delaney, Ramage
SUBS: Price, Blake, Wilbraham, Easter, Moxey, O'Keefe, Moritz

Some Rovers fans think because he's over seen a couple of 1 0 scabby wins over inferior opposition that Black is somehow absolved of all his previous failings and limitations as a coach.
Berg needs to bring in QUALITY coaches AND quality players ASAP or our slide down the football pyramid WILL continue.

But the point I was simply trying to make about Black is that he is a jobing 2nd rater that you can find anywhere in the lower leagues - if we really want to halt our footballing declin we need, not only to clear out this shocking squad but also bring in proper top coaches - this "jobs for the boys" culture that has gone on over the last 2 years HAS TO END.
