New courses explore Blaenavon’s rich history

7:10pm Monday 13th August 2012

BLAENAVON World Heritage Centre will be offering a series of free lifelong learning courses to encourage people to explore the heritage and environment of the area.

Learn to make sense of clues from the past with Exploring Archaeology. Get more out of walks in the countryside with Reading Rural Landscapes, and consider the best ways to interpret the past with Heritage Storytelling. All three courses include fieldwork, guided walks and visits to a range of heritage sites, alongside the classroom sessions.

Courses start during the week starting on Monday, September 25 and typically run for 12 weeks.
